00:00Persatu Vice President Ronald Kiandi said he has no issues with PAS's potentially leading Perikatan Nasional, citing PAS's cabinet experience working with the party.
00:11Kiandi said no one expected him to be able to lead Sabah PN, but leadership qualities often emerge when given the opportunity to hold a post, Utusan Malaysia reported.
00:22He expressed confidence that all PN component leaders, including those from PAS, are qualified and capable of leading based on their experiences.
00:33However, Kiandi said PAS's intention to lead PN must be discussed by the coalition's Supreme Council before any decision is made.
00:42PAS delegates had recently approved a resolution at their Muktama for the party to lead PN in the next general election.
00:49Kiandi downplayed this, saying it is normal for parties to pass such resolutions during their annual assemblies.
00:58He added that the PN's Supreme Council will make the final decision after its leaders reach a consensus.
