00:00After the pandemic, and only after the government was taken over by the leadership of Dato Sri Anwar Ibrahim,
00:16it was imagined that there would be a catastrophe or disaster in the education sector.
00:28After COVID-19, because our children are mostly marginalized in education,
00:35they experience a situation known as the lost learning or the learning poverty.
00:44But at that time, the government took the approach to solve this issue and gave full commitment.
00:55So, among the things that were given, including the program to overcome this loss,
01:03by spending around RM100 million to ensure that this program can really be implemented and delivered to those who need it.
01:14The closure of schools as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic has had a deep impact on school students.
01:24Just True, our children's program is designed specifically to address the issue of learning poverty
01:30by establishing basic learning skills such as reading, writing, and counting,
01:39as well as ensuring that students get a degree in SPM.
01:45In 2024, the government has allocated RM100 million to the Ministry of Education,
01:54specifically to address the issue of learning poverty in Malaysia.
01:58This is where our children's program is formed,
02:02which fully complements the intervention initiatives provided by the Ministry of Education.
02:08Our children's program is implemented through the approach of the entire government and the entire country
02:15to ensure greater and comprehensive success.
02:22The adoption of our children's program is an additional effort
02:29after recognizing the importance of learning poverty.
02:35The children of our nation cannot be neglected
02:40and must be provided with all kinds of cooperation and assistance
02:46to enhance their efforts together,
02:50giving them a second chance.
