00:00Hello, I'm Duncan Ray from Focus SP. I'm the Head of Strategic Partnerships here at Focus

00:08SP. Today we are opening our factory doors for National Manufacturing Day for people

00:15to come and see our business, come and see our manufacturing processes, hopefully learn

00:19and understand that manufacturing is an important part of the economy and an important part

00:24of the local 1066 area. Hence, we've also invited some of the 1066 manufacturing partners

00:31to come and view our facilities. I'm happy to be here today at Focus SP, who are a member

00:38of the local manufacturing group of businesses for 1066, promoting local businesses and growth

00:46in Hastings and St Leonard's. So, on this National Manufacturing Day, it's really good

00:52to be here and have a presence, and I'm looking forward to having a look around the factory

00:57to have a look at some of the things that they're doing. We manufacture on a basis from

01:02where we do bespoke one-off products here, all the way through to 700 suite hotels around

01:09the world. We are very unique in our industry here in that we have all the facilities under

01:16one roof. We're very proud that we're a British manufacturer. We have three sites, so we take

01:21raw metal sheet or coil in, slit, cut, stamp, CNC machine. Then we hand finish the metal,

01:31bronzing or some plating internally here. It's then all packed here, it's then all assembled,

01:38all the electric components are assembled and they're customised here. Everything that

01:43you see in a metal capacity on the front of the switch is manufactured in the factory.

01:51So, it's all customised and it's getting more and more complicated as we go into the

01:58environment as we go on and on and on. So, I'll show you around before we stop here.
