A calendar has been produced called 'Where's Willy' in Tipton. It features a knitted version of Tipton boxer William 'Slasher' Perry, visiting different parts of the Black Country. Money raised will go to refurbishing the grave of the famous boxer.

Hello, my name is Robert Hazel. I'm the Chairman of the Tipton Town Library's Local History Group.

I'm here today with our brand new calendar, Where's Willy?

Raising money to repair the grave of the Tipton slasher,

to put an interpretation board up, but also to develop a new heritage trail for the slasher

so that visitors to Tipton and Sandwell can see what the slasher was all about

and find out how they can get involved in heritage.

We're going to be at the Dudley Archives Local History Day on the 26th of October
