00:00I'm going to say.
00:02So we're here at Grand Fiat Wolverhampton, the Lions in Town, Lion Witch in a Wardrobe,
00:06and we're here with, is it a puppeteer? Is that the title?
00:09Yeah, well, we do many different roles within the show, but I am one of the main puppeteers, yeah.
00:15Oh, and you're an assistant director as well?
00:17Assistant puppet director, yeah.
00:18Great stuff. So how do you get into this world of puppets then?
00:22Well, I was sort of lucky to fall into it with this contract, actually.
00:26So everyone, apart from like two or three people, have to do some sort of puppeteering within the show.
00:31So have you kind of fallen in love with Aslan?
00:34Yeah, of course.
00:36It's quite something. I mean, we've photographed a few things here for the Expressions that are outside the theatre.
00:40You know, to have a giant lion prowling about is definitely a new one.
00:44There's a lot of physicality to it, you know.
00:45There's a lot of physicality to it, yeah, but we've got a good physio team,
00:49and as you've seen with the three puppeteers, we sort of, between the three of us, hold the weight.
00:55The back, the tail pulls it down, the head pushes it up, so it relieves some of the weight from the heart.
01:02Right, well, we hope you and Aslan enjoy your stay in Wolverhampton.
01:06Thank you very much.
