00:03We're at the showdown again this afternoon.

00:04The Guardians at home taking on the Twins.

00:07Both teams trying to make that push towards playoff baseball

00:10in October.

00:11The odds makers have this one projected to be very close.

00:13Take a look at the starting pitches.

00:15It's Bailey over getting the nod for the Twins.

00:18And Tanner Bybee getting the start here for the Guardians.

00:21You can see on the money line, very close to being a pick.

00:23And the total sits right around 7 and 1⁄2.

00:26So not a lot of runs expected for the Wednesday afternoon

00:29out there, progressive Phil Donahue.

00:31Now, you take a look, too, and you say, boy,

00:33that looks like a pick-em.

00:34Well, technically, even with the odds market, it's a pick-em.

00:37And along with the analytical market,

00:38it looks like a pick-em as well.

00:40If we're lining these pitchers up, I just told you,

00:41there's 27 pitchers I've rated today.

00:4416 and 17, excuse me, 15 and 16 today,

00:47that's pitching in this game.

00:48So that tells you how close these pitchers are.

00:514.15 XFIP number, 4.25 XFIP number side by side.

00:55If we're focusing on Tanner Bybee on the mound today,

00:57you look at his numbers.

00:59He hasn't been great over the past 30 days, to say the least.

01:02An ISO power number against 236.

01:05Awaited on base percentage against a 363.

01:08He's really been hammered, dubs, by left-handed batters,

01:11both on the season and over the past 30 days.

01:14So if we're looking at some RBI chances,

01:16you're probably gonna look at the twins and say,

01:18give me some left-handed batters.

01:19Walner fits that profile, and Larnach fits that profile,

01:22because you look at Walner, a .323 ISO

01:24gets right into pitching over the past month.

01:26That is sensational.

01:27You look at Larnach, .224 ISO power number

01:30through his 69 bats over the past 30 days

01:32against right-handed pitching.

01:33That makes some sense.

01:34If we flip it over to the other side with Ober on the mound,

01:37he hasn't really struggled in this set necessarily,

01:40but 110 at bats that he's faced,

01:42he does have a combined .238 ISO power number,

01:45which is a little bit dangerous.

01:46However, that lineup that we love so much

01:49on a night-to-night basis,

01:50just taking Josh Nail and Jose Ramirez,

01:52they have struggled over the past month

01:54against right-handed pitching in this side.

01:56So if you're asking me on a side, it is a true pick-em,

01:59but if you did want some RBI opportunities here,

02:01take the two lefties on that twins lineup,

02:03Walner and Larnach.

02:04One of those guys is gonna get an RBI tonight,

02:07and both of those guys are priced at plus money,

02:09so you put some extra money in your back pocket today.
