00:00Tomorrow is going to be winner take all and awaiting are the Tampa Bay Rays here for the American League
00:07pennant.
00:08We already know the National League is going to provide us on Sunday, I believe, one hell of a game
00:15here between the Dodgers and the Brewers.
00:19Or that's Saturday, the 11th.
00:20So that'll be Sunday, rather, October 11th.
00:24Miz versus Scooble.
00:25It was finally announced.
00:28Brewers, pretty much a pick-em price, even at home.
00:31I saw five and a half floating around, Craig, which I was dying.
00:36Five and a half.
00:37Here we are with Scooble and Miz.
00:40But if you're Tampa, you're just sitting and going, all right, anytime you guys are ready.
00:45Gavin Williams pitched yesterday.
00:48Tanner Bybee pitched yesterday.
00:50Everybody you thought would be involved in that game was in that game.
00:54And now we have no idea who's actually going to be ready to pitch here tomorrow for the all-important
01:01Game 5.
01:03I think they did mention, if I'm not mistaken, Burke is pitching for the White Sox.
01:09Did I get that correct in the last hour?
01:11Did I see that?
01:13Can the fellas help me out with that?
01:14That could be.
01:14Yeah, that could very well be.
01:15Yeah, I think I saw that.
01:17That's a good decision for the White Sox.
01:20I think that in the end, like I could care less if I'm right or wrong, but I think in
01:27the end, this is going to be the wackiest way for Cleveland to win this series.
01:33So I think they're going to win tomorrow.
01:34I do.
01:35I think they're going to win.
01:36Yep.
01:38Like we crowned the White Sox a little too early, like not realizing that they like had a little bit
01:44above mediocre season, like in the end, like they're not a team that's going to, I don't think, win the
01:50World Series.
01:50So, look, they got a shot to win tomorrow.
01:53They already beat Cleveland twice in Cleveland.
01:55I think that Cleveland is the better team.
01:58They left that door open.
02:00In order to win that series, they had to win that game three.
02:03Last night's game, Joe, another game that went off the rails for them.
02:06And now all of a sudden, let's not forget, when you get one guy super hot, that can change a
02:12series.
02:12I don't know what happened to Jose Ramirez this season.
02:15He's a future Hall of Famer.
02:17He had that habit bone injury.
02:18He had the surgery.
02:19He came back.
02:19He was not the same player.
02:20Didn't hit the entire year.
02:22Now, all of a sudden, Jose Ramirez is back.
02:24So, that also tells you that if Cleveland was to win this, this is a guy that can put the
02:29team on his shoulders a little bit, so to speak.
02:31Maybe even win a couple of games against Tampa Bay.
02:33Maybe even make it a long series.
02:34I don't know.
02:35But I am going to lean toward Cleveland there.
02:37And as far as the series price on Milwaukee, I'm going to be the stupid one.
02:41I'm going to be the dumb one.
02:43I'm going to be the one that takes the Brewers to win the series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
02:47I think the Dodgers are great.
02:49Don't get me wrong.
02:51I think the Brewers are going to win their home games.
02:53I can't remember watching a home game, Joe, where the Brewers lost, like, all year.
02:58So, they've got four.
03:00L.A.'s got three.
03:03Ohtani's not Ohtani right now.
03:05Maybe it's just me being dumb.
03:07But I'm going to take Milwaukee.
03:12Eight pitches last night for the Guardians, including, again, Gavin Williams being the
03:19guy to close it out in the ninth inning there.
03:22Gave up a hit, but did strike out one.
03:25But Gavin Williams was the closer, which I found fascinating since Smith, Kate Smith, went
03:31one inning, struck out two, or gave up two hits, rather, and a run.
03:36It was a home run there.
03:38But that game was, it felt like it was never really out of reach for the Guardians here.
03:44But, again, we saw Tana Bybee, finally.
03:46We saw Parker Mezik only go two and a third again.
03:51It walked four guys.
03:52It was a mess.
03:54And then we saw, you know, Smith again for the White Sox, which feels like he's pitched
03:59in what, three of the five games he's opened up here?
04:02It's crazy.
04:04Um, so, Gavin Williams starting, is this just a rematch of what game two was?
04:12With Burke and Williams?
04:13Does Gavin Williams go?
04:16Yeah, I think he does, and he wins this time, doesn't he?
04:19I mean, what happened the last time?
04:21Cleveland couldn't score for him, right?
04:22He pitched fine, right?
04:23But they couldn't score?
04:24Well, Burke has dominated them.
04:27But they, don't forget, Burke came in after more openers.
04:31Like, he didn't come in until the third inning.
04:35So, it's...
04:36And watching as much...
04:37Look, you're probably the only one that watches more baseball than me.
04:40But watching as much baseball that I have all season long, I can't take the White Sox tomorrow.
04:44I can't do it.
04:45Can't do it.
04:46Cleveland's a better team.
04:47If the White Sox win, they deserve it.
04:49But Cleveland is the better team of the two.
04:52Can't do it.
04:543-0, 1.19 ERA, 22 and two-thirds innings.
04:58That is what Burke has done versus this Guardians team this year.
05:02And after theaniacet, he's on there, he likes to win.
05:02See you at the end.
