00:00The World Health Organization warns that at least 25% of wounded Palestinians require rehabilitation services.

00:07The agency pointed out that almost 18,000 civilians have serious injuries in their limbs,

00:13while at least 4,000 have undergone amputation.

00:16It also highlighted that the number of Palestinians with traumatic brain injuries,

00:21spinal cord and high-grade burns increased during the last days.

00:25The World Health Organization indicates that the only limb reconstruction and rehabilitation center in the Gaza Strip

00:31is located in the Nasser Hospital, which has not been functioning since last February due to the Israeli offensive.

00:43Meanwhile, the Rafah border crossing located south of the Gaza Strip has been closed for 130 days

00:49after a violent offensive by the Israeli army.

00:52The international community and several United Nations agencies demand Israel to resume transit

00:58for the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, as well as the transfer of wounded Palestinians.

01:04For its part, the World Food Program denounces that almost 2 million Gazans suffer from food insecurity,

01:10while the Palestinian Ministry of Health reports that nearly 20,000 wounded and sick people in Gaza

01:16need to travel to receive medical treatment.
