NT Police investigating a man allegedly stabs barber shop customer, injures three others

Northern Territory Police expect to charge a 24-year-old man over an alleged stabbing in Darwin. One man needed treatment in Royal Darwin Hospital while two other victims had minor injuries.

00:12Police received reports just after 4pm a 24-year-old man had stabbed another man in the abdomen.

00:19Today the ABC has spoken to a man who says he witnessed the alleged offender draw a knife

00:25after he entered a barbershop just behind me here.

00:42Other residents off camera told the ABC the alleged offender was a known regular around

00:48the Knightcliffe area and had appeared very agitated earlier during the day.

00:53The man who was allegedly stabbed is expected to make a full recovery after being taken

00:58to hospital with injuries to his abdomen.

01:00Three other people received minor injuries after objects were thrown at them.

01:05The 24-year-old who is the alleged offender is still in police custody and expected to

01:10be charged later today.
