Check out my review of Dungeons of Eternity on the Meta Quest.
This footage was taken on the Quest 2.

When a cataclysmic cosmic event threatens your homeworld, the only hope for survival lies within the endless labyrinth of dungeons on the forsaken planet known as Eternity.

Hack-n-slash takes on a new meaning in VR: swing swords, throw axes, use bows, wield magic staffs, and more to make it out alive. With the power of VR, you will be immersed in a fantasy adventure like no other.

• COOP OR SOLO PLAY
Band together for an unforgettable cooperative experience with up to 3 players, or delve into the dungeons yourself.

• EVER-CHANGING DUNGEONS

• FEEL THE DUNGEONS
Hack-n-slash like never before with a visceral physics-based combat system and realistic interactions with the game world.

• ENDLESS ARSENAL
Every weapon is randomly generated, offering nearly endless loot within the dungeons. You will discover many weapon types, including swords, bows, magic staffs, and more.

00:00Hey guys now I've been calling out for a gauntlet type game since I discovered
00:05the VR world two years ago and ladies and gentlemen boys and girls it's
00:10finally here in the name of Dungeons of Eternity. Okay it's not gauntlet but it
00:16is the closest thing to it and let me say I absolutely love it. The menus are
00:22simple to navigate you have different sections in your chambers one section
00:27where you customize your character and weapons another section where you choose
00:31your style of game even a section where you just sit in front of a log fire and
00:36do absolutely nothing. There are three game modes. Mode one is where you work
00:42your way through the dungeons and at the end have to fight a series of just
00:46normal enemies and bosses to find three batteries which will power a portal
00:51machine to allow you to escape. Mode two is working your way through a series of
00:57smaller rooms to collect three crystals that will then power a pyramid which you
01:02then have to protect for a few minutes. Once completed it will give you a few
01:07crystals which you can then use to upgrade perks for your mind, chest, arms
01:13and legs. The perks are things like throw an axe 20% or 40 or 60%
01:18further or 30% less damage when you fall or your health regenerates every five
01:24seconds. The more perks you put on each one but like the shorter it will become
01:29or the more it will become like 20, 30, 40, 50 percent or five seconds and three
01:33seconds. There are plenty of perks to choose from. Then mode three is we are
01:38given a staff and have to battle enemies and collect their souls. You will be
01:44given rewards when you complete the tasks and as you collect souls it
01:48unlocks stuff that you can build such as health bottles and magic potions.
01:54Character customization is really good. You only have one character but as you
01:59play through the game you will find keys that unlock chests which give you
02:04weapons, shields and clothes. You can also customize your character's face shape,
02:09eyes, mouth, hair, hats, clothes, boots, gloves. I have to say that the
02:16customization options are really good within this game. The level sizes are
02:22really big. Plenty of spaces to explore and lots of rooms. I found that each game
02:29I played lasted around 15 minutes to 25 minutes but I guess it depends how much
02:35you like to explore. Every time you complete a game you will gain XP which
02:41then levels you up. I think that it goes up to about level 50. You will find the
02:47enemies get harder and a lot smarter as you progress. Smarter I mean by they
02:53start dodging out of the way. There are some really really nice weapon choices
02:59in this game. A bow and arrow, a crossbow, magical staffs, shields, swords, daggers,
03:08axes and clubs. Some come with different perks like a fire axe or an ice sword. The
03:16staffs are a lot of fun. They can shoot fireballs but they require crystals to
03:22power them which you will find lying around in the dungeons. You get to carry
03:28three crystals and have to change them manually. You can also carry health
03:33bottles and power-ups such as haste, invisibility, quadruple damage and then
03:40bombs. Enemies are plenty. Zombies of all sorts, big flying monsters, small and big
03:49scorpions, small spiders and big spiders, poison jelly things, flying exploding
03:56faces, skeletons, wizards, wasps, bats, ghosts and many other things that I
04:02haven't come across yet. And as I mentioned a minute ago as you progress
04:06through levels they get harder and smarter. This game really shines in the
04:12multiplayer mode where you can be joined by two friends or you can go online and
04:18play with two other random people. I gotta say playing with other people it's
04:23a lot a lot of fun. If you are a fan of the 80s game Gauntlet then you are just
04:29gonna love this game. Anyway I hope you enjoyed my review of Dungeons of
04:34Eternity on the Metaquest. Please leave me a like, comment below if you have

04:58scoring system in the description section below.
