00:00How dare you!
00:02I'm excited to hear the music from the inside.
00:05Could I come through?
00:08Feel free.
00:10It's not a big deal.
00:12I'm happy to share.
00:14It's all yours.
00:16You're a natural businessman.
00:19This is I Am Security by the developers New Folder Games,
00:23and it was released on the 26th of June 2024.
00:26Some games have absolutely no point, but are just fun.
00:29And from what I have played, I Am Security is one of them.
00:32Now, I do wish this game had a point to it, because it is a barrel of laughs,
00:36but after about 45 minutes, that soon fades.
00:39Check all the people for objects and rip off their clothes, hats and jewellery,
00:43look in their pockets for items like guns, knives, a bag of drugs, even VR headsets,
00:49scan them with a handheld x-ray machine, use a hand scanner,
00:53breathalyze them, or maybe give them a shave or a wash,
00:56or even a machine that lets you grow their hair.
00:58Then decide if you want to let them in by stamping them green for yes, red for no.
01:03Take all their stuff and pawn it off to the shop that's conveniently right behind you.
01:08Then you can buy more stuff to help customers get into the clubs,
01:11such as shirts, pants, shoes, and a few accessories.
01:15Or you can buy some stuff to make the rejection process much more fun,
01:19like attach a rocket pack to them, a bee's nest, a boxing glove, machine gun,
01:24baseball bat, and some other stuff. It certainly adds a good twist of humour.
01:28The graphics look great, very cartoon-like, and the setting is well designed,
01:32standing outside a nightclub just off a street, a line of people queuing up.
01:36You have a table on the left of you where all your equipment is,
01:39and then a table on the right of you to put objects on that you confiscate.
01:42Then there's the shop behind you where you sell and buy.
01:45There is a rules board on the top right that displays things for each person that steps up to be searched.
01:50The board has 16 objects on it that are in grey.
01:53Then some items will light up green, and some items will light up red.
01:57But it's not clear on the purpose.
01:59Green must mean it's okay to have, red must mean to confiscate.
02:02But it seems to be complete different rules to each person.
02:05And there doesn't seem to be much point in this yet anyway,
02:08as there is no count if you get it right.
02:10In fact, there's nothing to even say if you got it wrong.
02:13There's no levels. There's just nothing.
02:15You search people, and that's it.
02:17Doesn't seem to be a purpose or a consequence.
02:20There's also a few issues with the camera moving around, which is quite annoying.
02:24And occasionally, an object will get stuck in the air beside me.
02:28I checked the Metastore, and it seems at the time of writing this,
02:31they haven't put an update out in about 9 or 10 months.
02:35Also, they haven't responded to any of the comments left on the game.
02:38So I'm not sure if this is a full game, or if it's been abandoned,
02:41or if they're just struggling to find the time to work on their game.
02:45Whatever the case, for now, stay away from this one until it's had some more updates,
02:49or until it becomes free.
02:51Now touch that like button, hit subscribe, and happy gaming.
02:54Thanks guys.
02:57I'm not sure.
02:58I'm excited to experience what everyone's been talking to.
