00:00I'm Rachel Russell, I'm your independent candidate for Windsor-Caribbee Shire Council.

00:03So Rachel, I suppose I'm here today, we've got an hour until an extraordinary meeting of

00:09Windsor-Caribbee Shire Council. Talk to me a little bit about your reaction to this proposal.

00:16I've written a letter to the Minister via our local member Wendy Tuckerman to ask that this

00:24decision is delayed until we have an elected council who is able to put in a submission

00:30because it's really important that we follow democratic process at this point. The General

00:37Manager and the Administrator have not been able to be held to account by our community since 2021.

00:46So not feeling positive about it at all? I'm very concerned and the Administrator has stated that

00:53he believes that the community will welcome this. That's not the feedback that I am getting from

00:58the community at all. I'm getting concern and quite frankly concern that the Administrator's

01:08legacy is not something that we want to be put on a pedestal.
