Moss REVIEW for the Quest 3

Moss™ is a single-player action-adventure puzzle game from Polyarc tailor-made for the VR platform. It takes classic components of a great game—such as compelling characters, gripping combat, and captivating world exploration—and combines them with the exciting opportunities of VR.

In Moss, players meet Quill, a young mouse with dreams of greatness beyond the confines of her settlement. While exploring the woods, she finds a mysterious Glass Relic and an ancient magic is awakened. With her uncle now in grave danger, Quill must embark on an epic journey—and she needs you there by her side. Together, you'll travel to forgotten realms, solve challenging puzzles, and battle menacing enemies. Alone, no one can conquer what you're up against. But united, you just may defeat even the darkest of villains.

00:00If you are looking for a beautiful looking game that's just easy going, with puzzles
00:21and that you can sit down and play, then look no further than this lovable little mouse.
00:28Quill is just one of the most adorable characters in meta at the moment, and the storytelling
00:34is so well presented, it feels like you're laying in your bed and your parents are reading
00:39you a goodnight story.
00:42The scenery in this game is truly stunning, a little world hidden amongst a big world,
00:48and you will be guiding your little mouse named Quill through puzzles that require some
00:53thought but are not impossible.
00:55It has the exact right amount of balance, and as you, the reader, can assist Quill with
01:02some of these puzzles and even some of the fighting.
01:06Your weapon is a sword, but you don't need anything else in this game, otherwise it would
01:10spoil it.
01:11You can also, as the reader, grab enemies and make them shoot, so it offers a new way
01:17of looking at some of the scenarios you find yourself in.
01:20The controls are really simple, there's not much to remember, jumping, sword swinging
01:26and grabbing.
01:28The size of the game is very fair, and as I said, it just looks stunning and so well
01:34designed, I really felt like it was a fairy tale type adventure.
01:38The story is so simple, but yet so effective.
01:42There are 7 chapters, and each one you can choose to play again at any point.
01:48You can expect to get around 3 hours playtime out of Moss.
01:53The enemies come in a way of, I think are meant to be hermit crabs and other shelled
01:59animals, as well as robot type looking things, and that main one at the end, huge and terrifying.
02:07Some fight, some shoot, and some just explode.
02:12I absolutely loved playing through this game so much that when I completed it, I immediately
02:18bought Moss 2.
02:20So on that note, I score Moss a 40 out of 45.
02:25You can find my scoring system in the description section below.
