Ukrainian Missile Strike Hits Russian Port Caucasus, Sinking Fuel Ferry

Russian sources reported seeing smoke above the port of Caucasus. Shortly after, it was confirmed that a strike had indeed occurred at the port. Initially, Russian authorities claimed that a ferry carrying fuel was attacked, but a few hours later, reports indicated that the ferry had sunk.

Ukrainian Missile Strike Hits Russian Port Caucasus, Sinking Fuel Ferry

Today, the Russian port of Caucasus in Kuban was struck by a missile, leading to the sinking of a ferry carrying fuel.

This information was reported by SHOT.

According to a Russian Telegram channel, only four of the 17 crew members aboard the ferry have been rescued so far. The governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, stated that efforts are underway to rescue the remaining crew members.

The Telegram channel "Shot" also reports that a Ukrainian Neptune missile hit the railway ferry Conro Trader, causing traffic on the Crimean Bridge to be temporarily halted.

OSINT analysts have pointed out that the Conro Trader was the only large ferry operating between Kerch and Russia.
