This Cat's Pottery Is Sold Out

Cat watches his mom make pottery — and decides to starting making his own pieces! We reached out to Sophia to ask Momo for an extra special request

00:05I'm incredibly grateful for how many people are passionate about cats and about pottery.

00:13I love pottery and to be able to do that with my cat is really special. A big love that I

00:19have outside of art is animals. It's awesome to be able to combine the two.

00:24It all started last summer when I first got this wheel for my home studio.

00:34Cats like to mimic their owners.

00:39Anytime I was throwing on the wheel, he really showed an interest in wanting to participate

00:44and really beginning to design some of his own work as well.

00:48All right, Momo, you want to go through some pottery?

00:55He will also paint slip onto it.

01:05Slip's just a pigmented watered-down soot clay, 100% non-toxic.

01:14He loves his bath. He'll put his head under the faucet.

01:18Recently, he'll come jump up. He's a little bit more autonomous.
