00:00One Sunday morning, I happened to walk my dog outside, and we just see this little furball.

00:06Immediately, my dad instincts just kicked in.

00:09I knew if I didn't do anything, he was going to die.

00:12When I found him, he barely fit on the palm of my hand.

00:15He was the run of the litter, and he was left behind.

00:19I really became his mom.

00:23He was so interested in everything. He was so curious about everything.

00:27He was hungry all the time. I tried to schedule it with my meals.

00:30We'd have breakfast together. We'd have lunch together. We did everything together.

00:34He was just happy to be around.

00:38Everyone in the gym was pumped.

00:41I would do pull-ups with him.

00:44I would have him on my stomach or on my lap while I'm bench pressing.

00:51He would actually do some of the exercises with me.

00:54It was both a combination of he just wanted to be involved and, oh, this is playtime.

01:00He's really adventurous, and he has a super bubbly personality.

01:08I think his curiosity really feeds into his adventurous side.

01:13He became my emotional support animal.

01:16Unofficially, he was teaching me how to love myself.

01:22It meant the world to me that he was there for me, and he just wanted me to be happy.

01:28He really changed my life when I needed someone the most.

01:31He was there for me, and I was there for him.
