South Africa continues to build their lead on day two of the second test match against the West Indies. The Windies fell 16 runs short of South Africa's first innings total after they were dismissed for 144 in their first innings. The Proteas reached 223 for 5 at the close of play. They lead by 239 runs

00:00Resuming their first innings on 97 for 7 and still trailing by 63 runs, the
00:05West Indies fell into early trouble. They lost to Jamel Warrickon for a duck
00:09caught Keshav Maharaj bowled by Kagiso Rabada. Jason Holder stuck around and
00:15took advantage of some bad bowling. Jaden Seals also failed to put up any
00:20resistance as Nandre Berger removed him LBW 104 for 9. However just like South
00:27Africa the last wicked pair frustrated the bowlers. Holder smacked a few shots
00:32around the field and Shemar Joseph timed the ball well as the Windies
00:37inched closer to the target. On 44 their last wicked stand ended as Maharaj
00:43removed Joseph for 25. Holder not out on 54 as West Indies reached 144 all-out
00:50trailing by 16 runs. It was going to be a second innings
00:57match. This time though Tony De Zorzi and Aidan Makram found a way to cope with
01:01the Windies pacers. De Zorzi was given a life after he was dropped by Joshua
01:06Da Silva. However on 79 Seals got his wicket. De Zorzi gone for 39. After
01:13getting to 51 Moti removed Makram 120 for 2. And in the space of 19 runs
01:20South Africa lost the three quick wickets. Temba Bavuma was gone for 4
01:25bowled Moti. Tristan Stubbs and David Beddingham fell thereafter of the
01:29bowling of Seals. The Windies were back in it with the proties struggling on 139
01:35for 5. There would be no further wickets to fall on the day as Kyle Varane
01:39remained not out on 50 and with him is Wian Mulder on 34. South Africa reaching
01:45223 for 5 daily by 239 runs.
