00:00Time to cool down in the pool. That's where this country's swimmers are currently in St. Lucia
00:04Preparing for the 20th edition of the goodwill swimming championships all the three-day competition begins Friday and ends on Sunday
00:12There are 40 plus swimmers representing TNT from 8 and under all the way to 17
00:18TNT coach Fabian de France says the main objective is to see the twin island country reclaim the trophy that was surrendered in
00:26Jamaica last year
00:28of course the charges have
00:31Well have been drilled in the assignment that is ahead of them
00:35We are looking to go better than we did last year in Jamaica were replaced third
00:40Of course, we are looking for some new national records over the weekend
00:44And of course some some trophies and some medals
00:48But the biggest assignment of all is retaining an overall trophy back to Trinidad
00:54Preparations have been developing nicely
00:56The charges understand the assignment ahead of them and we are now
01:01Just trying to get all on the same page as we prepare and wind down for competition that kicks off on Friday
01:07And we are definitely looking for some some quality swims from our charges
01:13We are looking to secure
01:16medals both
01:18Definitely goal and as well to break some records going into this meet
01:22All the great serious beckons
