00:00Hey friends, welcome to today's video. Today is going to be the greatest day of your life.
00:07You know, in life, our relationships are among the most precious treasures.
00:12They offer us support, joy, and a sense of belonging.
00:16You know, healthy relationships enrich our lives.
00:20They provide us a foundation of love and trust that helps us navigate the ups and downs we all inevitably face.
00:27And when we nurture and maintain these connections, we cultivate a network of resilience and hope that can weather any storm.
00:36Have you ever found yourself, however, going along in a relationship thinking everything's just fine,
00:44and then suddenly the bottom drops out and everything just falls apart?
00:49You know, this can happen in all kinds of relationships, business, romantic, friendships, and family.
00:56And it might feel like the moon is weird, the wind blew the wrong way, or for some inexplicable reason,
01:02what was once good suddenly isn't anymore.
01:06You know, this past year has been one of those years for both my wife and me.
01:11Thankfully, our relationship remains strong and solid because we work at keeping it that way.
01:18But with little or no warning, many of our other relationships have faded away or fallen apart.
01:24You know, it seems COVID's affected many people, but inevitably people just go their own direction.
01:31And one day we were happily thinking, you know, that things were as they'd always been, and then whoops, everything's changed.
01:38You know, and that's just the ebb and flow of relationships, and it always reminds me of the ocean.
01:44You know, when the tide is consistent, I can count on it coming and going as it always does.
01:50I can work with it, know what to expect, and things are good.
01:55Then a sneaker wave comes along, knocks me down, and tries to pull me and everything else far out to sea.
02:03You know, sometimes when this happens, things wash ashore and I can salvage them.
02:08Other times, they're just gone.
02:11And sometimes when you lose people in your life, it's not always a loss.
02:16I'm still reeling from being hit by several of those relational sneaker waves this year,
02:21sorting through the debris and seeing how it happened and what's left.
02:26Do you ever feel that way?
02:28You know, I've realized that in some cases, what it was is most likely destroyed, you know.
02:36But the question is whether there is a way to rebuild it in a new way or if it's just gone.
02:42Some relationships I can let go of, but others, I fervently hope that rebuilding is an option.
02:49You know, the challenge now is how to do it and ensure the new relationship will be stronger
02:55and better able to weather the next big wave.
02:58You know, amidst the devastation, I'm starting to focus on the positives.
03:03You know, I'm learning that I'm stronger and more resilient than I knew.
03:08And I also learned that I always have a choice.
03:12I can continue to live in the past, obsess about the various turns of events, and make myself a victim,
03:20or I can stand tall, learn from the lessons, and just move ahead.
03:26You know, I'll always remember this year as the time I learned how fragile relationships are
03:32and how important it is to continuously nurture them so they will always be strong enough to survive whatever storms may come.
03:40Because relationships, like the ocean, have their tides and waves.
03:45But with love, hope, and constant care, we can build bonds that withstand even the fiercest storms.
03:52So I ask you to cherish and nurture your relationships with others.
03:56Stand together in love and hope, ready to face whatever comes your way.
04:01You know, the strength of our relationships lies in the care and attention we give to them.
04:07Just as a garden flourishes with regular watering and care, our relationships thrive when we invest time and love into them.
04:17You know, by prioritizing the positive aspects of our connections, we not only create a more fulfilling and joyful life for ourselves,
04:27but also foster a supportive and resilient network that can uplift us in times of need.
04:33And remember, the effort we put into our relationships every day will yield a lifetime of love and strength.
04:43Let's cherish, nurture, and grow our bonds, ensuring they remain strong and vibrant for years to come.
04:52You know what? If anybody can build the greatest relationships, I know it's you.
04:57I believe in you. I care about you. And you know what? You are absolutely worth it.
05:04I hope you have a beautiful day today, my friends, and I'll be back tomorrow with some more great stuff.
05:10Take care.
