00:00But I do want to start out in Zechariah chapter number 4, and I want you to start out by seeing the comparisons in Zechariah chapter number 14 and Revelation chapter number 16, because they are very comparable and they speak about the same exact event.
00:15In Zechariah 14, in verse number 1, the Bible says,
00:20Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoils shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem divided, and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished, and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
00:45Then the Lord, verse number 3, then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations as when he fought in the day of battle.
00:54Verse 4, his feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley.
01:11And half of the mountain shall be moved toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
01:16And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto us all. Yea, ye shall flee like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah.
01:29And the Lord my God shall come, watch his best part, and all the saints with thee.
01:35Revelation chapter number 16 now, Revelation chapter number 16, and when you find your place there, we're going to start in verse number 16. The Bible says,
01:46And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
01:53And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air, and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven from the throne, saying, It is done.
02:04And there were voices and thunders and lightnings, and there was a great earthquake such as was not since men were upon the earth.
02:13So mighty an earthquake and so great, and the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and great Babylon came in remembrance before God to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
02:32And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found, and there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talon, and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
02:51The title of our message tonight is the battle of Armageddon.
02:57The battle of Armageddon, let's have a word of prayer. We'll get right into the message.
03:03Again, we do thank you for those who came tonight. We do thank you for the word of God.
03:08And we pray right now, Laura, that you would help us as we look, and we study the Bible on what is going to come to pass in the future. I pray God tonight that you show us truth.
03:19But Lord, I pray tonight that you would show us just what is going to happen to this world that is without Christ.
03:26And I pray God that you convict us and show us the importance of bringing men and women to Christ.
03:33And Lord, also, if we're here tonight, and there's anyone that does not know Christ, God, I pray you touch that person, and Lord, that you show that person the importance of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
03:45And we're just going to thank you for what you're going to do tonight. In Jesus' name. Amen.
03:52The battle of Armageddon has been perhaps the most anticipated and yet the most feared war that has ever been prophesied in all of history.
04:05There have been many books written about the battle of Armageddon.
04:09There have been many thoughts and even many prophecies concerning the battle of Armageddon as well.
04:16Many people have titled the battle of Armageddon as the final war.
04:21Or they've even titled it as World War III.
04:24And it really would be titled World War III because at this time, God was going to gather all the nations of Europe together into the valley of Megiddo.
04:34And the Bible says that the war is going to become so violent and so bloody that the blood will literally flow up to the horse's bridle.
04:46In Revelation chapter 14, verses 19 and 20, the Bible says,
04:50And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
05:01And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, watch this, even into the horse's bridles, by the spades of a thousand six hundred furlong.
05:15If you were to do a study on the distance of one thousand six hundred furlongs in the Bible,
05:22you would find out that that is equivalent to about two hundred miles,
05:26which is exactly the entire landmass of the nation of Israel.
05:32So for two hundred miles in that day, there will be nothing but bloodshed, dead bodies, corpses everywhere.
05:41I'm going to tell you something, it is going to be the most bloody and the worst battle that the world has ever known.
05:48In Isaiah 63, in verse number three, the Bible says,
05:51I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the people there was none with me.
05:57For I will tread them in my anger, and trample them in my fury,
06:03and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
06:09Daniel 11, the Bible says that at that time of the end, shall the king of the south push at him,
06:16and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind with chariots,
06:20and with horsemen, and with many ships, and he shall enter into the country,
06:26and shall overflow and pass over.
06:30The battle of Armageddon will be so bloody that the Bible tells us that the birds of the earth
06:35will become drenched in blood from larger bodies of those who will be slain on the battlefield.
06:44Ezekiel chapter number 39, verses 17 through 19, the Bible says,
06:49Thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God, speak unto every feathered fowl,
06:54and every beast of the field.
06:56Assemble yourselves, and come, gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice,
07:01that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel,
07:07that ye may eat flesh and drink blood.
07:10Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth,
07:14of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, of all of them, of the fatlings of Basham.
07:21And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunk into my sacrifice,
07:28which I have sacrificed for you.
07:30And then you find in Revelation chapter number 19, verses 17 and 18, the Bible says,
07:36And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls
07:42that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together,
07:46unto the supper of the great God, that ye may eat the flesh of kings,
07:50and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses,
07:55and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, small and great.
08:02And I'm going to tell you something, it amazes me as we study end-time Bible prophecy,
08:07how much the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation all come into perfect agreement.
08:16But the war, the battle of Armageddon will become so violent that there will be people
08:22who become employed to burn the weapons for seven years, and bury the bodies for at least
08:29seven months. Ezekiel 39, in verse number 9, the Bible says,
08:34And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire,
08:40and burn the weapons, both the shields, and the bucklers, the bows, and the arrows,
08:45and the hand-staves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years.
08:52Ezekiel 39, verses 11 through 14, the Bible says, It shall come to pass in that day,
08:57that I will give unto Gog a place of their ablaze in Israel, the valley of the passengers
09:04on the east of the sea, and it shall stop the noises of the passengers. And there shall they
09:09bury Gog and all his multitude, and they shall call it the valley of Haman-Gog. And seven months
09:17shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. Yea, all the people of
09:24the land shall bury them, and it shall be to them a renowned day, that I shall be glorified,
09:30saith the Lord God. And they shall sever out of men of continual employment, passing through the
09:36land, to bury with the passengers, those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it.
09:43After the end of seven months shall they search. Brandon, could you imagine it, having a job,
09:49having a full-time job, where it will be your job to do nothing but bury bodies off of a battlefield?
09:56That's how it's going to be after the Battle of Armageddon. It's going to be so bloody,
10:01and it's going to be so violent, that there will actually people that have full-time work doing
10:07nothing but burying bodies of the slain in that time of battle. During this war, the king of the
10:16east, which is China, is going to come with a massive 200 million man army. In Revelation 9,
10:24in verse number 16, the Bible says that the number of the army of the horsemen
10:28were 200,000,000, and I heard the number of them. In Revelation 16, in verse number 12,
10:36the Bible says, and the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates,
10:42and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
10:49You know tonight that Russia is also going to be there at the Battle of Armageddon,
10:55and they're going to come from the north with a massive army of their own, as we're going to see
11:01just a little bit later in this study as well. But it's important to note tonight that there's
11:07a prophetical reason why the war in Ukraine is happening in the world of today. Something that
11:15a lot of people don't seem to understand. But it has been prophesied in the scripture
11:22that the armies of God, which we're going to see later on, deals with Russia. They are going to
11:27unite all of that land, and they are going to make a move through Europe towards Israel.
11:34The only thing that is stopping them from doing that right now is the Ukraine,
11:40because every other nation right there has already fallen in line and pledged allegiance to Russia,
11:47except for Ukraine. So they have to have Ukraine. So Ukraine is either going to give in and give
11:55over and establish peace with them and allow Russia to go ahead and establish the former Soviet
12:01Union, which is prophetical, or Russia is just simply going to take it over. So mark my words,
12:08this is coming today, and it's going to be real soon when the Ukraine will fall and the former
12:14Soviet Union will be reunited. We're going to see more of that tonight in this study as well.
12:22Now, both China and Russia, this is real important to understand, we find in end-time prophecy,
12:28China and Russia both become big players in end-time prophecy. But China and Russia are
12:35new countries to Bible prophecy. By saying new countries to Bible prophecy, that simply means
12:43that these nations were not the nations in Bible times that they are today. In other words, Israel,
12:52Iran, and all those nations never had problems with China, and they never had problems with
12:59Russia. These nations are new to Bible prophecy, meaning that these are nations that would come up
13:07in the latter days, in the end times. There's never a time in history where Israel had a battle
13:14with a nation that was called Gog and Magog. But all of a sudden in the latter days, we find where
13:22this nation shows up in Bible prophecy along with the kings of the east that come from China.
13:29So we see right here where these are new nations, but yet they have such
13:35prophetical significance in the latter days. So tonight, now we're going to turn to Ezekiel
13:42chapter number 38, and we're going to spend the bulk of the rest of our lesson here in Ezekiel
13:48chapter number 38, as we get some context concerning the battle of Armageddon.
13:55And one thing I want you to understand, and we sort of touched on this yesterday,
13:59is the fact that at the three and a half year mark of the tribulation period, after the peace
14:05treaty is broken with Israel, listen, there are going to be wars that start to spring up all over
14:12the world again. So for three and a half years, the world will be at peace, but immediately at
14:18the three and a half year mark, wars are going to start to spring up in the world.
14:24Ezekiel chapter number 38, and when you find your place there, we're going to start in verse number
14:29one. In verse number one, the Bible says, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
14:41Son of man, set thy face against Gog, G-O-G, in the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshach
14:49and Tubal, and prophesy against him. Now, Gog tonight, G-O-G, is a term for a ruler, not a
15:01territory. It can be said tonight that Vladimir Putin currently serves as Gog because he is the
15:10ruler of Russia. Now, whether or not he is the Gog, G-O-G of the Bible, we don't know.
15:19I'll tell you one thing, he definitely fits the bill. With what he wants Russia to do and how he
15:25has a mind to rule the world, he reminds us a lot of this dictator that we're reading about tonight
15:33going into the Battle of Armageddon. Now, Magog is the land in which Gog will rule,
15:40which geographically, if you were to study the Bible, is the entire land of the former Soviet
15:47Union. According to the scriptures, Gog is going to create a federation from the north,
15:54either by a peaceful alliance or a conquest. Again, it doesn't matter how he does it,
16:02but he is going to unite all those nations of the former Soviet Union.
16:08The former Soviet Union consists of 20 different countries. These countries will come together and
16:15form one superpower. And again, that right there is why Russia is invading the Ukraine tonight,
16:24because that is the final piece of what they need to create this superpower. And once they
16:32get to the Ukraine, Russia will literally have a pathway into Europe. And we have to understand
16:40that. And with the restoration of the Soviet Union, Gog will form an alliance. Most of those
16:49countries are listed in Chapter 38, such as Mishech and Tubal, which are in reference to
16:54Armenia and Turkey. Libya, Iran, Sudan, and Germany are also mentioned. And we must also
17:00remember, as we've been studying all those BRIC nations, we've already discussed the fact that
17:07there are already nine nations that have come together in an alliance with Russia. Those are
17:15the members of the BRIC nation. Now, let me ask you this. If he were to get all of those nations
17:23right there that were consistent of the former Soviet Union, you know what that would do?
17:28That would bring his number up to 29. Now, he would be able to rival the European Union,
17:35which sits at 27. So that's why he is making such an effort to take the Ukraine and control
17:42the Ukraine. Because once he does that, he has literally rebuilt the former Soviet Union,
17:48now has control of 20 nations, building the BRIC nations up to 29.
17:55Real important to understand that. Now, at this time, we also find out something else is happening
18:01in the world. In Rome, there's going to come together the Ten Kingdom Federation of the
18:05Antichrist. And that's going to include the nations of the European Union, such as Italy,
18:12Greece, and France. And what we're going to find out is that these nations are all going to be at
18:18peace for three and a half years. But the European Union is not going to be peaceful with the
18:26alliances of Gog and Magog. I'm going to tell you something. Later on, when you get into the
18:30Tribulation Period, or in the Battle of Armageddon, we see this tonight, you're going to find out that
18:35Gog and Magog are going to bump heads with the Antichrist and his Ten Kingdom Federation.
18:42And they're not going to like each other very much. But we're going to see that a little bit
18:45later tonight. Here's number three, Ezekiel 38. And say, thus saith the Lord God, behold,
18:53I am against thee, O God, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Most scholars trace these
19:02people back to a Greek group of people known as the Scythians. They settled in the present-day
19:08countries that make up Kazakhstan, the Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and
19:14Tajikistan. Now, many people know that these isolated countries are countries that at one
19:20time formed the mighty Soviet Union, but they've become independent. So right here, we see a
19:27prophecy in Scripture right here in verse number three, where we see that these countries that
19:32were formerly part of God, all of a sudden, going into the Battle of Armageddon, they're
19:37united with God, and God is against all of them. Then we get to verse number four, the Bible says,
19:45I will turn thee back and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth and all thine army,
19:51horses, and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with
19:57butlers and shields, of them handling swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya, with them, all of
20:05them with shield and helmet. Now, in verses five and six, these verses speak of the allies of God.
20:15We see Persia, which is modern-day Iran, Ethiopia, modern-day Sudan, Libya. Sudan and
20:24Libya are both 97% Muslim, and will want nothing more than to wipe Israel off the face of the
20:31earth. We see mention of Gomer here, which is modern-day Germany. The Hansel to God is a
20:39reference to Turkey. So the king of the north, no doubt, will be the Soviet Union, along with Iran,
20:47Sudan, Libya, and Turkey. Now, also remember, we've been studying that alliances are forming
20:53even in the world of today. So, of course, today we have the European Union, which consists of 27
20:59nations, and as we've been seeing, we have the British nations, which are nine as of today,
21:05but tomorrow they could jump all the way to 29, depending on what happens with the Ukraine.
21:12So keep your eyes on two places. Keep your eyes on Israel, and keep your eyes on the Ukraine.
21:18Look at verse number seven, if you would.
21:20Be thou prepared and prepare thyself now and all thy company that are assembled under thee,
21:27and be thou a guard under them. After many days thou shalt be visited in the latter years.
21:33Thou shalt fall into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people
21:39against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste, but is brought forth out of the
21:46nations, and they shall draw safely all of them. Now, these verses are interesting because it
21:53mentions that God, G-O-G, watch this, will come into the land that is brought back from the sword,
22:02and that is gathered out of many people. As we've been studying, and many of you already know
22:08tonight, that's talking about Israel. Israel was brought out of several different countries,
22:16both during and after World War II, and then they became independent in 1948.
22:24So that's yet another prophecy concerning the regathering of Israel, but the prophecy continues
22:30to go further into the Tribulation Period, leading to the Battle of Armageddon, and we find here that
22:37as the Jews escape to the mountains, even though these nations will have modern weaponry, we find
22:43in the scripture tonight that it won't be effective in the mountains, so they'll have to pursue on
22:49horseback and fight at a more primitive level. Now, you can stop me right there and say, well,
22:54look, Robbie, we've got so much weaponry and so much technology, and we're able to do so much,
22:59there's no way in the world we'd ever rely going back to primitive things such as horses.
23:05But we found concerning the war in Afghanistan, listen, there were many places that our tanks and
23:12modern-day artillery could not go to, so horses were deployed because some of the regions were
23:18so mountainous that modern infantry could not travel through it. That's why Jesus said in Luke
23:2622 and verse number 36, but now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his script,
23:33and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy them all. Now, Jesus was not
23:40saying right there that a person should live by the sword, but he was suggesting that there's
23:45coming a time when people better be ready to defend themselves because that day and that hour
23:51is going to come upon this world. And then we get to verse number nine.
23:55In verse number nine, the Bible said, thou shalt ascend and come like a storm.
24:07Thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land. Thou art in all thy bands and many people with thee.
24:15Thus saith the Lord God, it shall also come to pass that at the same time shall things come
24:20into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought, and thou shalt say, I will go up to
24:26the land of unwalled villages. I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them
24:33dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates, to take a spoil and to take a prey,
24:40to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited and upon the people that are
24:48gathered out of the nations which have gotten cattle and goods that dwell in the midst of the
24:53land. This invasion will come all of a sudden out of nowhere. And it's going to bring all the
25:02armies of the North with them. Now, this first time, this is before the Battle of Armageddon
25:08ends up happening. This was talking about right here after the first three and a half years.
25:14The first time, China's not going to be with them. But the second time, China is going to be with
25:21them. In Revelation 16 and verse number 12, the Bible says, and the sixth angel poured out his
25:27mouth upon the great river Euphrates, and the water there was dried up that the way of the
25:33kings of the East might be prepared. I read an article that was printed in 2021 in the Times
25:41magazine from the UK, and it said this, Iraq's two main rivers, the Euphrates and the Tigris,
25:47will completely run dry within two decades unless action is taken. A report by the country's water
25:55ministry has warned two rivers, which originate in Turkey and run through Syria, are the source
26:01of up to 98% of Iraq's surface water. So, since there will be an established peace treaty during
26:09the seven-year tribulation period, Israel will have open borders, and as we talked about
26:14yesterday, they're going to feel secure. They're going to place all of their faith and their trust
26:20in this person known to be the Antichrist. But after three and a half years of this seven-year
26:26peace treaty, he is going to break the peace treaty. And then something real interesting
26:32is going to happen. Out of nowhere, when Israel thinks that they've got peace and safety,
26:39then all of a sudden there's going to be an invasion from the North. Gog and Magog are going
26:43to sneak in there, and they're going to try to attack Israel because they're going to think
26:48that they're vulnerable because they have let down their defenses thinking that the world
26:53is going to be at peace for a full seven years. And as many of you know, this is not how Israel
27:04is today. At this very moment, when we listen to the news and we see what's happening in Israel,
27:10listen, Israel is always ready for war. Listen, there's no peace or rest in sight.
27:16The country is secured with soldiers carrying machine guns everywhere. Every day in Israel
27:23is the sound of rockets and bombs going off everywhere. The only way that that will ever
27:30change is through a peace treaty guaranteeing their safety. And as we discussed last night,
27:37they'll have to completely put their faith in the Antichrist, but we also find out that they do,
27:44but he will not honor the peace treaty. And when he breaks it, Israel will not be ready because now
27:51they think that they've got peace for seven years, but the peace treaty becomes immediately broken.
27:57Daniel 9, 27, he shall confirm the covenant with me for one week. And in the midst of the week,
28:04three and a half years into the tribulation period, he shall call the sacrifice, the oblation to cease
28:10for the overspreading of abominations. He shall make it desolate. And then we get to verse number
28:1613. The Bible says, Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all the young lions
28:22thereof shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? Hast thou gathered thy company to
28:29take a prey to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
28:37Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto God, Thou sayest the Lord God in that day when my people
28:44of Israel dwell safely, shalt thou not know it? And thou shalt come from thy place out of the
28:53north parts, thou and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company,
28:58a mighty army. And thou shalt come up against my people Israel as a cloud to cover the land.
29:05It shall be in the latter days. And I will bring thee against my land that the heathen may know me
29:11when I shall be sanctified in thee, O God, before their eyes.
29:18All right. So we find here in verses 13 through 16, we see where Sheba and Dedan are mentioned.
29:24All right. Those two nations are representative of Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Now they're not part
29:31of this alliance, but they are spectating. Listen, they stand by a plaza as they ransack Jerusalem.
29:38What they're doing is they're wanting everyone to go to war and fight and kill each other. And
29:43then they're planning on coming in at the end and spoiling the war and taking the goods.
29:49Tarshish is a reference here to Spain. God at this time will not only fight against Israel,
29:57but he will also cause problems for the Antichrist. And this is what's going to be what
30:03starts the Battle of Armageddon. And this is what's going to bring all the nations into Israel
30:08in the Valley of Megiddo. So the Antichrist's plan was he was going to sit in the temple,
30:14he was going to ruin the entire Middle East himself. But he gets surprised when all of a
30:20sudden the armies of Gog and Magog start coming. And now they're standing in his way. That's what's
30:27going to really spur the start of the Battle of Armageddon. That's when all the nations of the
30:32are going to come into the Middle East, right there to the Battle of Armageddon. And that's
30:36when they're all going to fight because now there is a conflict between two alliances. Who are they?
30:43The alliances of Gog and Magog, which we know today to be the British alliances,
30:48and the alliances of the European Union, which will be completely under the authority of the
30:54Antichrist. So again, if we look at the world stage today, we can see where everything is
31:00shaping up, the alliances that are being made, and everything is pushing toward that final battle,
31:06the Battle of Armageddon. Watch this, Daniel 11, verse number 44.
31:13The tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him, talking about the Antichrist.
31:18Therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to make away many.
31:27So when the Antichrist goes to war with Israel and finds out that Gog has already made war with
31:33Israel, the Antichrist is going to go to war with Gog. And again, that's going to trigger the final
31:40battle, which is the Battle of Armageddon. And as all these nations assemble together in one place,
31:47that's when God is going to judge these nations with pestilences, with plagues,
31:52with natural disasters. And then, of course, lastly, the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ.
32:00And then we look at verse number 17. Watch this.
32:04Thus saith the Lord God, art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time,
32:10by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years,
32:16that I would bring thee against them? And it shall come to pass at that same time when Gog
32:22shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.
32:30For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken.
32:34Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel, so that the fishes of the
32:41sea and the fowls of the heaven and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep
32:45upon the earth and all the men that are upon the face of the earth shall shake at my presence.
32:52And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall,
32:57and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout
33:03all my mountains, saith the Lord God. Every man's sword shall be against his brother.
33:09Verse 22, I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood.
33:14And I will rain upon him and upon his bands and upon the many people that are with him,
33:19and over the flurrying rain and great hailstones of fire and brimstone.
33:24Verse 23, thus will I magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many
33:33nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord. The majority of the world today don't know God,
33:44and they reject God. They don't accept the God of the Bible.
33:50But there's coming a day when every nation is going to know who God is.
33:58In verses 17 through 23, what God is saying, he's telling Gog, G-O-G,
34:05Gog, it is you who attacks my people. Then he says, you will see the fury of my face.
34:12Now, remember again, when we do a study on Russia, Russia has never been a religious nation.
34:19As a matter of fact, Russia has always been exactly the opposite.
34:23Russia has always been a country that has denied God. And here they will provoke God,
34:29and God will show them exactly who he is by causing the land to devour the armies
34:36through natural wonder. Listen, there's coming a time that God is going to shake those mountains
34:41with an earthquake, fog and natural wonders that will confound the enemy with so much
34:48fear that they will not know who the enemy is, and they'll start killing each other.
34:54Could you imagine tonight going to war and having the battlefield so foggy and so dark
35:00that as you're fighting, you don't even know who the enemy is?
35:05That's how it's going to be during the time of the battle of Armageddon.
35:09In that time, God will rain upon Gog and Magog fire and brimstone from heaven
35:15and hail the weight of a talon of roughly 75 pounds.
35:20Could you imagine a time where hail falls from the sky that weighs 75 pounds apiece?
35:28When we have hail storms today, even in South Louisiana, just a couple of minutes
35:35can leave dents all over vehicles. It can literally just about ruin your vehicle.
35:40And those hail storms don't even lay anywhere close to a pond.
35:45Seventy-five pounds of hail coming down at one second, man, that would level houses.
35:54That could kill a man. That would destroy just about everything in its presence.
35:58And the Bible tells us that that's the weight of the hail that God is going to rain down
36:04upon Gog and Magog. And then the Bible says, and then shall be the coming of the Lord.
36:11At the end of the battle of Armageddon, the last thing that is going to happen
36:18is that the Lord Jesus himself is going to show up and he's going to come.
36:23Zechariah chapter number 14, verses three through five,
36:27then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations as when he fought in the day of
36:35Bath. Watch this. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before
36:42Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east
36:48and toward the west. I want to share something with you. If you remember when Jesus left and
36:53ascended into heaven, he was standing on the Mount of Olives.
36:59And as the disciples were watching him go up into heaven, there were angels that appeared,
37:04and this is what the angel told them. They said, this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into
37:09heaven shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go. He was standing on the Mount of
37:15Olives when he went up into heaven. And when he returns, he's going to return and put his feet
37:21back on the Mount of Olives, the same place where he ascended into heaven. But then the Bible says,
37:29then there shall be a great valley, and half of the mountain shall move toward the north,
37:34half of it toward the south, and ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains, for the valley of
37:39the mountains shall reach unto us all. Yea, ye shall flee like as you fled from before the
37:44earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. And the Lord my God shall come and all the saints
37:53with thee. At the very end of the Battle of Armageddon, after the world has come together
38:01for this final battle right there in the Middle East, in Israel, all the nations are going to look
38:09up, and they're going to see the coming of the Son of God. Revelation 19, verses 11 through 16,
38:17the Bible says, I saw heaven open, and behold a white horse, and he that sat upon it was called
38:24faithful and true. And in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of
38:30fire, and on his head were many crowns. And he had a name written that no man knew but he himself.
38:37And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God.
38:43And the armies which were in heaven fell upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and
38:48clean. And out of his mouth flowed a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations,
38:55and he shall rule them with a rod of iron. And he treadeth the lion's breast of the fierceness
39:01and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written,
39:07and I like this, King of kings and Lord of lords. And this also is going to bring to pass the
39:15prophecy in the very beginning of the book of Revelation in chapter number one and verse number
39:21seven, which says, behold, he come up with clouds, and every eye shall see him. And they also which
39:28pierced him, Israel, and all kinners of the earth shall wail because of him, even so. Amen.
39:36Now, let me ask you a question. Could you imagine being in the middle of that man?
39:42And as you're fighting, you look up, and then you see a white horse coming with all the armies of
39:49heaven behind him. You say, what are they going to do when that happens? Well, again, back to
39:56Revelation one in verse number seven, the Bible says, when that happens, the Bible says, behold,
40:01he come up with clouds, and every eye shall see him. They also which pierced him, and all the
40:07kinners of the earth shall wail because of him, even so. Amen. There will be people who see him
40:13physically. They'll be in the bed. But then the whole world is going to see him because of the
40:20technology of the world of today. Every eye is going to see him when he comes again.
40:32At that time, the antichrist and the false prophet are going to be caught and cast alive
40:38into the lake of fire. In Revelation chapter 19, verses 19 through 20, the Bible says, and I saw
40:45the beast and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war against him
40:50that sat on the horse and against his army. And the beast was taken, that's the antichrist,
40:57and with him the false prophet. There were miracles before him, and with which he deceived
41:03them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were
41:09cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And I'm going to give you something,
41:16this is the first time ever where two people in the Bible were cast alive into the lake of fire.
41:26First time ever that that actually ends up happening. We find at the end of the battle
41:32of Armageddon that the devil will be bound with a great chain and cast into the bottomless pit
41:36for a thousand years. Revelation chapter number 20, verses 2 and 3, and he laid hold on the dragon,
41:44that old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
41:49and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him
41:54that he should deceive the nations no more till a thousand years should be fulfilled.
41:59And after that, he must be loosed a little season, and we'll finish that part of the story
42:03tomorrow morning in Sunday school. But at the very end of it, the antichrist, the false prophet,
42:12they're going to be cast alive into the lake of fire. And the last thing that's going to happen
42:19is the fact that Israel will finally receive their Messiah. The one they've been praying for,
42:26the one they've been weeping for, the one they've been asking God for. And when they receive him,
42:32they're going to find out that it was Jesus all along.
42:37Zechariah chapter 12, verses 8 through 10, and you know, these are probably my favorite verses
42:42in all of the Old Testament. In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
42:50and he that his people among them at that day shall be as David, and the house of David shall
42:55be as God, as the age of the Lord before them. And it shall come to pass in that day
43:04that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
43:09And I will put upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
43:14the spirit of grace and of supplications. And they shall look upon me whom they have pierced,
43:22and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him
43:28as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. I'm just about through. You know, Wednesday night,
43:37we talked about how the prophecy of Zechariah chapter 12 and verse number 10 was partly fulfilled.
43:43Zechariah 12 and verse number 10 was fulfilled in the fact that the Messiah had been pierced.
43:54We talked about that. The Jewish Messiah had been pierced. He was pierced at Calvary almost
44:022,000 years ago. Jesus died on Calvary's cross. The Jewish people rejected him,
44:08hung him on a cross, and pierced his hands and his feet. That part of the prophecy was fulfilled.
44:15But yet, if we talk about Wednesday night, there was a future part of that prophecy
44:21that had not been fulfilled. And now at the battle of Armageddon, that entire prophecy
44:28becomes fulfilled when Israel will look on the Christ who they pierced. And the Bible says they
44:36will mourn for him, and then they will receive him as their Messiah. He will become their God,
44:44and they will become his people.
44:49So tonight, listen, if you've not received Jesus into your heart by faith,
44:53would you do that tonight? You see, Israel rejected Jesus,
44:59but there's coming a time when they're going to accept him.
45:06They're going to see him for who he is. They're going to weep, and they're going to cry,
45:10and they're going to mourn the decisions that they made at the cross. They could have had him 2,000
45:15years ago, but when he reveals himself to them, they're going to weep, they're going to cry,
45:21they're going to mourn, they're going to repent, and they're going to receive him.
45:25Tonight, listen, you might have rejected Jesus throughout the course of your life.
45:29You might say, well, I didn't reject Jesus. I just never chose to follow him. Well,
45:32it's the same thing as rejecting him.
45:37But tonight, listen, you don't have to continue rejecting him. Tonight,
45:43you can receive him just like Israel is going to do so. When they receive him,
45:47they're going to weep, and they're going to mourn for him, and then they're going to have great joy.
45:51Listen, when a person gets saved, listen, they weep and they cry because of the repentance of
45:55sins, but when they get saved, they have great joy. That's how it's going to be in Israel
46:01at the end of the battle of Armageddon. So the message tonight, the study tonight,
46:07was the battle of Armageddon. I'm through with that. Why don't you stand with your
46:11heads bowed, your eyes closed, and we're going to have a word of prayer.
