00:00And when you find your place, and we're going to start in verse number one, Revelation chapter number six and verse number one.
00:07The Bible says that I saw when the lamb opened 1 of the seals.
00:14And I heard as it were, the noise of thunder, 1 of the 4 be saying, come and see.
00:20And I saw and behold a white horse.
00:23And he that sat on him had a bow.
00:26And a crown was given unto him.
00:29And he went forth conquering and to conquer.
00:32And when he had opened the 2nd seal, I heard the 2nd beast say, come and see.
00:37And there went out another horse that was red, and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth.
00:45And that they should kill one another.
00:48And there was given unto him a great sword.
00:51And when he had opened the 3rd seal, I heard the 3rd beast say, come and see.
00:56And I beheld and lo, a black horse.
00:59And he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
01:03And I heard a voice in the midst of the 4th beast say, a measure of wheat for a penny, and 3 measures of garlic for a penny.
01:11And see thou hurt not the oil in the wine.
01:15And when he had opened the 4th seal, I heard the voice of the 4th beast say, come and see.
01:21Verse number 8, and I looked, and behold, a pale horse.
01:25And his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
01:30And power was given unto him over the 4th part of the earth to kill him with sword,
01:36and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
01:43The title of our sermon tonight is The Coming Tribulation Period.
01:49Let's have a word of prayer.
01:51We'll get right into the message.
01:54Father in heaven, again, we sure do thank you for the privilege of being able to come together tonight and worship.
02:00We thank you for the good psalm service today.
02:03We pray right now that you would help us just to not think about anything else that is going on in life.
02:09But God, I pray that you shield us from everything that's happening outside of the church.
02:14And God, that you would help our focus tonight to be strictly upon the word of God.
02:19I pray tonight, Lord, that you would challenge us and convict us.
02:23Lord, if there's someone here today that does not know you, that's never been saved,
02:27God, I pray that you touch that person tonight.
02:30And that person would come to an old-fashioned altar and give his or her life to Jesus Christ.
02:35We pray now that you bless your word,
02:37and we pray that Jesus will be lifted up and glorified.
02:40For it's in Jesus' name we pray.
02:42Amen.
02:45Now, last night, many of you were here for the service last night.
02:49Last night, we talked about where we are in the present day.
02:55And we did a lot of things last night.
02:57We talked about a lot of things that are happening in the world of today right now
03:01that are getting us to the place of the rapture of the church.
03:07I said last night, and I say it again, I believe tonight that we are right at the door.
03:11I firmly believe that.
03:13I've been studying eschatology now for almost 30 years.
03:18Eschatology is simply the study of end-time events.
03:22And I have never seen a time quite like what we are living in in the world of today.
03:29And we talked about where we are in the present day.
03:32We talked about that last night.
03:33But tonight, we're going to deal with what's going to take place after the rapture of the church.
03:40And into the coming tribulation period.
03:44Now, the Bible tells us tonight very explicitly
03:48that there is coming a seven-year period in which the world has never seen.
03:55Worse than the worst war that the world has ever seen,
03:59there's coming a seven-year period that the world tonight has never witnessed.
04:06And there are many different titles that are given
04:09to the tribulation period throughout the Word of God.
04:13In Revelation chapter number three, it's called the hour of temptation.
04:19As a matter of fact, the Lord said to the church at Philadelphia,
04:22because thou has kept the word of my patience,
04:26I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,
04:30which shall come upon all the world to try them that dwell upon the earth.
04:36And that's one of the many reasons why I believe
04:38the rapture will happen before the tribulation period.
04:42God gave a church a pause.
04:44And he said, listen, there's coming a time that's going to try the entire world.
04:48But before that time comes, I'm going to take you guys out of here.
04:55In Isaiah chapter number two and verse number 12, it is called the day of the Lord.
05:00In Daniel 12 and verse number nine, it's referred to as the time of the end.
05:06It's also referred to as Daniel's 70th week in Daniel chapter number nine, verses 24 through 27.
05:14The tribulation period is referred to as the time of great
05:18tribulation in Matthew 24, verse number 21.
05:22And Ms. Diane, if you're trying to keep up with me, you're just not going to make it.
05:26Amen.
05:26But it's also referred to as the beginning of sorrows in Matthew chapter 24 and verse number
05:34eight.
05:35And in Daniel chapter 12 and verse number one,
05:39the Bible refers to this time as the time of trouble such as never was.
05:47In Revelation chapter six, verse number 17,
05:50the tribulation period is referred to as the great day of God's wrath.
05:55The Bible says from the great day of his wrath is come and we shall be able to stand.
06:02But I believe that the most descriptive title for the seven year tribulation period
06:10has to be no doubt the title as the time of Jacob's trouble.
06:17And that is because it deals with how God is going to deal specifically with
06:22the nation of Israel during the time of tribulation.
06:28In Jeremiah chapter 30, verses three through seven, the Bible says,
06:33for Lord of the days come, say to the Lord that I will bring again the captivity of my people,
06:38Israel and Judah, sayeth the Lord.
06:40Watch this.
06:41And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers and they shall possess it.
06:48I talked about this yesterday and the day before.
06:51That event happened on May 14th, 1948, where Israel was brought back supernaturally divine,
06:59but divinely by God into the land of Israel, 1948.
07:05But the Bible continues there by saying,
07:08these are the words that the Lord spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
07:13For thus saith the Lord, we have heard a voice of trembling, of fear and not of peace.
07:19Ask ye now and see whether a man doth prevail with child.
07:23Wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins as a woman in travail,
07:30and all faces are turned into paleness.
07:33Alas, for that day is great, so none is like it.
07:37Watch this.
07:38It is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
07:45And now tonight, we turn our attention to Revelation chapter number six,
07:50which gives us an outline of the tribulation period, really from start to finish.
07:58And the Lord tonight chose to give us four horses of different colors to describe the things
08:06that are going to take place during this time of tribulation.
08:11Number one, the first horse we see is known in the scripture as the white horse.
08:16Look at verse number one in Revelation chapter number six.
08:25Revelation six and verse number one, the Bible says,
08:30and when I saw the land, and I saw when the lamb opened one of the seals,
08:36and I heard it were the noise of thunder, one of the four horses,
08:40one of the four beasts saying, come and see.
08:42Now watch verse number two.
08:45And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow,
08:52and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.
09:01I believe the first question that we have to ask is, who is the rider on the white horse?
09:10If you read Revelation chapter number six and you see a man riding a white horse with a bow
09:17that has no arrows, obviously symbolizing peace,
09:21what is your first thought after the rider of the white horse?
09:27Sadly, I would venture to say at least 90% of all Christians would answer it as being Jesus.
09:35But that's not who's riding the white horse in Revelation chapter number six.
09:41The Jehovah's Witnesses, who have millions of members all over the world,
09:46put out a book called the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
09:50And I was curious because I wanted to read and see what they said
09:53concerning the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse here in Revelation chapter number six.
09:59And this is what they said concerning the rider of the white horse.
10:04Now, remember, they have millions of members worldwide.
10:08This is what the Jehovah's Witnesses say concerning the rider of the white horse.
10:13Who is the rider of the white horse?
10:16The key to his identity is found in the same Bible book, Revelation,
10:22which later identifies this heavenly rider.
10:25I'm going to tell you something right now that's not heavenly.
10:28This heavenly rider adds the word of God in Revelation chapter 19.
10:33That title of the word belongs to Jesus Christ, for he acts as God's spokesman.
10:39So the rider on the white horse is Jesus Christ.
10:44I got news for you.
10:45No, he's not.
10:48The rider on the white horse is a character in the scripture known to be the Antichrist.
10:55But he will be so deceptive that many of the people of this world will regard him as a great
11:02prophet.
11:03To Israel, when the Antichrist shows up, he will become their Messiah.
11:08To the Muslims, when the Antichrist shows up, he will be what is known as the 12th Imam.
11:14He will be their great prophet, their final prophet.
11:18And to the world, he will be the greatest person to ever live.
11:22He will be extremely charismatic, and he will be able to deceive the world with powerful speeches.
11:29But everything about the Antichrist will be a mockery of Jesus Christ.
11:39And the symbolism of the white horse shows us that.
11:44But notice tonight that he will come into the tribulation period riding a white horse
11:49and holding a bow with no arrows.
11:54Now again, the white horse symbolizes peace.
11:58The bow with no arrows tells us that he's not going to conquer the world through the use of
12:05military force.
12:08But this tells us tonight that the way that he is going to conquer the nations
12:13is he's going to conquer the nations through acts of diplomacy.
12:17That's the way that he's going to come into this world.
12:21You see, when the tribulation period begins, the world is going to be in chaos.
12:28The rapture has happened.
12:29A very large part of the population has disappeared.
12:33People are going to demand answers.
12:36There will be wars all over the world.
12:39There will be rioting.
12:40There will be unrest in civil governments.
12:43And then when all of this chaos is happening, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, this figure
12:53is going to appear and he's going to persuade the nations to enter into a seven-year peace treaty.
13:01And the Bible says that they will do it.
13:04And there will be peace in the Middle East and all over the world.
13:10In Daniel chapter number 9 and verse number 27, the Bible says that he shall confirm the
13:15covenant with many for one week.
13:18As you do the study in Daniel 70 weeks, that simply means one year or seven years.
13:24He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week or seven years.
13:27And in the midst of the week, which is three and a half years later, he shall call the
13:33sacrifice and the oblation to cease for the overspreading of abominations.
13:39He shall make it desolate.
13:41And we have talked about yesterday the fact that in order for this to happen, the temple
13:47had to be rebuilt and the sacrificial system had to be reinstituted.
13:52If you were here yesterday, you heard when I talked about what the rabbi had said from
13:57Israel, how they have everything ready and they are ready to build and start the sacrificial
14:04system again.
14:08In Daniel 11, verse number 21, the Bible says that it is the state shall stand up a vile
14:14person to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom, but he shall come and watch
14:20him peaceably and obtain the kingdom by flattens.
14:24And this figure, this person known as the Antichrist will immediately become the head
14:30of the European Union.
14:32And he will be given the power to call all the shots and make all the decisions.
14:38And he'll even be given the power to change laws.
14:43Watch this, Daniel 7, verse number 25, and he shall speak great words against the most
14:51high, and he shall wear out the saints of the most high and think to change times and
14:57laws, and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of
15:04time.
15:06So since he's going to be able to change laws, and I want you to understand how important
15:11that is, he's going to make laws that are against everything in the word of God.
15:20We already understand the scripture teaches that he will be a vile person.
15:25And if he is given the ability to change laws, then that simply means that he can make the
15:31people do whatever he wants to do.
15:33And we'll talk about that just a little bit later.
15:37So underneath the authority of the Antichrist, a mention will be acceptable.
15:44The LGBTQ plus lifestyle would be acceptable.
15:50As a matter of fact, when you do a study on the Antichrist, it's very possible from
15:54scripture that he might even be one of them.
15:57And I'm not joking with you.
15:58Remember, he is the Antichrist.
16:01So he is the exact opposite of Christ.
16:04Listen to what the word of God says in Daniel 11, verse number 37, neither shall regard
16:11the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any God, for he shall magnify
16:19himself above all.
16:21So if he is the opposite of Christ, and the opposite of the gospel, it wouldn't be surprising
16:28if he came on the scene with a homosexual himself, not desiring women.
16:35But there's another thing in verse number 37 of Daniel chapter 11, I want you to notice
16:40as well, neither shall he regard the God of his fathers.
16:45That tells us right there what ethnicity he must be.
16:51In order for him to not regard the God of his father, that tells us that he must be
16:56one of two people.
16:58He must either be a Jew, or he must be an Arab, because both of them come from Abraham.
17:05Now, I'm going to tell you why this is so important.
17:08In order to have peace in the Middle East, the Jewish people aren't just going to believe
17:13someone from the West.
17:16The Arabs aren't going to just fall in line with someone from the West.
17:22He's got to be one of them in order to have this credibility.
17:27He very possibly could be a Jew.
17:28As a matter of fact, years ago, many people thought that Adolf Hitler was a Jew, or not
17:34a Jew, but they thought he was the Antichrist.
17:36They called him the Antichrist, but the Antichrist is going to be far worse than Adolf Hitler,
17:42if you can begin to imagine that.
17:46But the next question that we need to ask, not only do we need to ask who is riding the
17:51white horse, but number two, we also need to ask how long will the white horse run?
17:58In verses 1 and 2 of Revelation chapter number 6, we come to an understanding that the white
18:05horse is going to run for the first three and a half years.
18:09That's how long this horse is going to run.
18:13During this time of the white horse, listen, during the time of the white horse, there's
18:18going to be peace, there's going to be prosperity, there's going to be a universal global religion
18:25that we talked about yesterday, and even today everyone is allowed and encouraged to partake
18:31in.
18:32So the first three and a half years of peace and prosperity, but then all of a sudden the
18:39white horse has run its race and it comes to the end.
18:44So at the end of those three and a half years, we find in the scripture where the white horse
18:49will change its color.
18:53So number one, we looked at the white horse.
18:55Number two, I want you to look at how the white horse now becomes the red horse.
19:02Look at verse number three, if you would.
19:05Revelation 6, verse number three.
19:07And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, come and see.
19:12Now watch this.
19:13And there went out another horse that was red, and power was given to him that sat thereon
19:20to take peace from the earth, that they should kill one another, and there was given unto him
19:27a great sword.
19:32I want you to notice the very first thing about this red horse.
19:37Notice the rider.
19:39The rider trades his airless ball for a sword.
19:46You know what that means?
19:49That means that that's the end of peace.
19:54The white that was used to represent peace now becomes red, which represents blood.
20:00And in the middle part of the tribulation period, the Antichrist is going to break the
20:06seven-year peace treaty, and then he is going to turn to focus on annihilating the nation of
20:13Israel and all of those Jews.
20:16In Daniel 9 and verse number 27, the Bible says again, he shall confirm the covenant
20:21with many for one week.
20:23So the original covenant, the original peace treaty was designed to last seven years.
20:29But in the midst of the week, three and a half years later, he shall call the sacrifice and
20:35the oblation to cease for the overspreading of abominations.
20:39He shall make it desolate.
20:43So in the middle of the tribulation period, he will break the peace treaty, and then he
20:48will do everything in his power to exterminate every Jew that lives on the face of this earth.
20:59It is at this time that he will take his seat in the Jewish temple and declare himself to
21:05be God.
21:07And this is very important to understand that in Matthew 24, verses 15 through 20, Jesus
21:13said this to the Jewish people, when you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken
21:19of by Daniel the prophet stand in the holy place, then let them which be in Judea flee
21:25into the mountains.
21:27Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house, neither
21:32let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
21:36And let them that are with child and them that give suck in those days, but pray ye
21:41that your flight be not in winter, neither on the Sabbath day.
21:47If you've ever wondered what those scriptures are talking about, that's exactly what it's
21:52talking about.
21:53Midnight through the tribulation period, when the Antichrist breaks the peace treaty with
21:58Israel, Israel, in order to survive the remaining three and a half years, they have to leave
22:04and they have to flee the mountains and they have to escape because the Antichrist's sole
22:09mission in life becomes to exterminate the Jewish people.
22:15So we find here that when this happens, Israel becomes a very unsafe place.
22:22And many of the Jews are going to have to flee just to save their lives.
22:28And because the Antichrist now has control of the majority of the nations all across
22:33Europe, he has all the power and he calls all the shots.
22:40That's something I want you to understand during the second three and a half years,
22:44religious freedom will go away.
22:47In the first three and a half years, there will be religious freedom.
22:52Everybody is going to buy into this idea of a global religious system.
22:58Remember how we talked about it yesterday?
23:02We talked about that religious system, how everywhere today we're trying to come together
23:07and all the different religions are trying to come together saying, hey, let's put our
23:11doctrinal differences aside, we don't worship the same God.
23:15No, we don't.
23:17But that's the message of this one world religion.
23:21And in the first three and a half years, there's going to be a trial that the Antichrist uses
23:27to bring men and women to the place where he gets them ready to worship him.
23:33That's the goal of the Antichrist.
23:35You see, the devil has always wanted to be God.
23:39And in the tribulation period, listen, he sets up his siege.
23:44In the Jewish temple, he sits in the temple and he declares himself to be God.
23:51That's always been his ultimate goal.
23:53But religious freedom will go away.
23:56Listen, the Antichrist will employ a character that the Bible refers to as the false prophet.
24:03And the mission or the job of the false prophet will simply be to cause everybody
24:10to come together and worship the Antichrist.
24:14In Revelation 13, verses 11 through 12, the Bible says,
24:18I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth.
24:21And he had two horns like a lamb, but he wasn't a lamb.
24:25And he spake as a dragon.
24:28And he exercised all the power of the first beast before him and causes the earth and
24:35them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, talking about the Antichrist,
24:40whose deadly wound was healed.
24:45The global religious system that has been in planning for so many years
24:52and that is going to finally be completed will be completely destroyed,
24:58as you find in Revelation chapter number 17, because at this time,
25:04nobody will be able to worship any other God except for the Antichrist.
25:11So, he has accomplished his purpose in the tribulation period.
25:15Now, two major events are going to happen right in the middle of the tribulation period.
25:20And I want you to understand this.
25:23Number one, as we talked about just a minute ago,
25:25the Antichrist will sit down in the Jewish temple and he will proclaim to be God.
25:30This event will trigger God's anger and God's wrath.
25:36And the wrath of God at that time will be revealed from heaven
25:42in the judgments of the seven trumpets and the seven bonds.
25:47And I talked about this before.
25:51We oftentimes look at the world in which we live,
25:55and we see how men and women blaspheme God, they curse God, they mock God.
26:00They even touch the rainbow that was meant to be the presence of God,
26:04and they make it into the rallying cry of the LGBTQ community.
26:11And we look at everything happening in the world,
26:14and we oftentimes say, doesn't God just say that?
26:22Well, there are some judgments coming known as the seven vials of God's wrath.
26:27They're blinding us.
26:28And I've said this before, listen, you can look at what's happening in the world today,
26:33which is filling up and filling up and filling up.
26:37And then there's going to come a time when God's finally going to turn over the bowls
26:41and empty them on this world.
26:43But the trigger is going to be when the Antichrist sits down in the Jewish temple,
26:49declares himself to be God and people in this world start worshiping the Antichrist.
26:55That's going to be the trigger.
26:58In 2 Thessalonians chapter number 2, verses 3 and 4,
27:02the Bible says, let no man deceive you by any means.
27:05For that day shall not come except there come a falling away first.
27:09And we're seeing that in our day, a falling away from the truth.
27:13And that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, the Antichrist,
27:18who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped,
27:24so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
27:33So we understand at the midway point of the tribulation period,
27:37the Antichrist will sit down in the Jewish temple and proclaim to be God.
27:41But number 2, Satan will be kicked out of heaven and have no more access to the throne of God.
27:50This event that we're talking about right here will finally cause God to kick Satan
27:57out of heaven once and for all and give him no more access to the throne of God.
28:02And when God does that, Satan will simply turn on everything God loves and seek to destroy it.
28:11Nothing more so than the people of God, which is the nation of Israel.
28:19Revelation 12 and verse number 9, watch this.
28:21And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the devil and Satan,
28:26which deceiveth the whole world.
28:28He was cast out into the earth and his angels were cast out with him.
28:33You jump down to verses 12 and 13 in Revelation chapter number 12.
28:38The Bible says, therefore rejoice ye heavens and ye that dwell in them.
28:43Woe unto the heavens of the earth and of the sea, for the devil has come down unto you,
28:48having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
28:54And when the dragon saw that he was cast under the earth,
28:57he persecuted the woman which was Israel, which brought forth the man-child, of course,
29:03that deals with Jesus.
29:08That brings us to another question.
29:11The antichrist is going to wage war with Israel,
29:16set himself in the temple, declare himself to be God.
29:20The devil himself is going to seek to destroy God because he knows he has just a short time.
29:29The question is, how is Israel going to survive the last three and a half years?
29:36The first three and a half years, they're good.
29:39Peace and prosperity.
29:42They're not scared of anything.
29:43They have put all of their trust into the antichrist.
29:45But the last three and a half years, when he breaks the peace tree,
29:52the one they trusted, the one many of them even call Messiah,
29:59when he breaks the peace tree, he seeks to kill them all.
30:03So, with all of his power and all of his control,
30:05how is Israel going to survive those last three and a half years?
30:11Well, there's two reasons.
30:14Number one, the Bible tells us that God is going to shorten the days.
30:19In Matthew 24, verse number 22, the Bible says,
30:22except those days should be shortened, there should no less be saved.
30:26Watch this, but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.
30:32Again, I preached and I taught on election before there's individual and natural election.
30:37This is dealing with Israel.
30:39This is national election.
30:40This is God's elect nation.
30:43For the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.
30:49So, God is going to literally shorten the days for the preservation of Israel.
30:55But there's another reason why Israel is going to be able to survive
30:59those last three and a half years of the tribulation period.
31:02And this is what I believe, and I believe it is according to scripture,
31:05and I'm about to prove it to you in just a minute.
31:08I believe that God is going to use a nation who is not controlled by the Antichrist
31:14to deliver Israel to a place of safety.
31:18Now, we know tonight that God doesn't need any help to deliver Israel.
31:23But one thing I want you to understand, God has always used human beings,
31:29God has always used human institutions to do his work.
31:35And I don't believe it's going to be any different in the tribulation period.
31:38God is going to choose a nation that has not bowed down to the Antichrist,
31:44that has not joined the European Union,
31:47that has not joined among the Brit nations that we talked about yesterday.
31:51There's two alliances that are forming in the world right now.
31:55The European Union has been formed.
31:57The Brit Union, that's the union of Gog and Magog, by the way.
32:01They're forming right now.
32:03They've already got several nations involved in that.
32:06We talked about that last night.
32:09But I believe that God will use a nation that is not controlled by the Antichrist
32:14to deliver Israel to a place of safety.
32:17Watch Revelation chapter 12 and verse number 14.
32:20And to the woman, we're given two wings of a great eagle,
32:31that she might fly into the wilderness, into a place where she is nourished for time and times
32:37and half the time, that's three and a half years from the face of the serpent.
32:44Now, maybe you can remember from yesterday, I made a statement
32:47concerning both the European Union and the Brit nations.
32:52And this statement is true.
32:54Do you know as the entire world right now is figuring out what side they're going to serve on?
33:00Are they going to side on the Europeans?
33:02Or are they going to side on the Russians and the Chinese?
33:05Do you know as of right now, the United States of America
33:10does not belong to the European Union and they do not belong to the Brit nations.
33:17Now, I want you to look at that scripture again.
33:20Watch this.
33:20To the woman, we're given two wings of a great eagle,
33:24that she might fly into the wilderness, into a place where she is nourished
33:29for a time and times and half a time, three and a half years from the face of the serpent.
33:36I firmly believe that as the world chooses sides,
33:42that God is going to keep the United States neutral
33:46for the purpose that our nation was born for.
33:50If you know anything about the establishment of our nation,
33:52you can start to understand that our nation was born for two reasons.
33:57Number one, it was born to get the gospel out into all the world.
34:02America has always been the greatest country in the world when it comes to foreign missions.
34:07But number two, we've also been the greatest supporter of Israel.
34:12You might be here tonight, you might say,
34:13well, that will look very good right now in our country.
34:16We have a lot of division concerning Israel.
34:19Well, I'm going to tell you something.
34:20I believe that there is a divine purpose that God has for the United States.
34:25And there's a reason why we haven't joined up with everybody else and chose sovereigns.
34:31And I believe in Revelation 12 and verse number 14,
34:34that the two wings of a great eagle talks about America intervening for Israel
34:40and bringing them to a place of safety in the tribulation period.
34:48Now, the white horse travels the span of about three and a half years.
34:54But when we look at the last three horses,
34:58it becomes a progression of events during the last three and a half years.
35:03So we saw the white horse.
35:06Number two, we saw the red horse.
35:09Number three, we need to take a look now at the black horse.
35:13Look at Revelation 6 and verse number five.
35:23In verse number five, the Bible says,
35:25when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, come and see.
35:29And I beheld a little black horse, and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
35:38And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say,
35:41a measure of wheat for a penny and three measures of barley for a penny,
35:45and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
35:52At the middle part of the tribulation period,
35:57that is when the Mark of the Beast is going to be introduced.
36:00You might ask the question, Brother Ivey, when is the Mark of the Beast going to come play?
36:04It's going to come to play after the first three and a half years, right at the middle point.
36:09Again, there are a lot of things that are going to happen in the middle of the tribulation period.
36:16And a person who receives the Mark of the Beast, you know, according to the scripture,
36:21they won't be able to buy or sell, they won't be able to transact business,
36:27they really won't be able to do anything without it.
36:31The Antichrist has the power to change laws.
36:36So he's going to literally divide the world.
36:43Who serves him, takes the Mark.
36:46Who doesn't, resists the Mark.
36:48So now you're going to have a separation in this world.
36:53There will be some people who are wise enough and smart enough and know enough Bible to say,
36:59oh no, I'm not going to take that Mark.
37:02I was talking to some people here yesterday, and we were talking about the technology that's out
37:06today, and some people told me today, they said, look, even if it's convenient, there's no way,
37:10I'm getting a microchip in my right hand.
37:12There'll be some people in the tribulation period that will start to understand that.
37:18And they're going to say no.
37:19So a division is going to be, is going to take place.
37:24Listen, paper money is going to become a thing of the past.
37:28And you can look in the world of today, you can already see where we have been trending at that.
37:32There are a lot of restaurants today, a lot of different fast food places you can go to.
37:37They either will not take paper money, or they will take paper money.
37:43Or they'll tell you, well, if you give us $10, that is $9.20, we can't give you back the change.
37:51So we find out that in the world of today, there's already been a great push
37:55to get rid of paper money.
37:57I'm telling you, that's coming.
37:59As a matter of fact, most people today don't even carry cash money with them anymore.
38:06But paper money is going to become a thing of the past.
38:10Listen, all of a person's personal information is going to be put on a microchip
38:16that will be inserted in a person's right hand or in their forehead.
38:22And it's going to become mandatory.
38:24Somebody asked me a question the other day concerning
38:28the business in Minnesota that had started chipping their employees.
38:32If you don't know anything about that, you need to go home and you need to research that.
38:35There's a business in Minnesota that has started chipping their employees
38:40so their employees now can clock in by swiping their right hand.
38:44They can transact at a vending machine by swiping their right hand,
38:49and the money comes directly out of their bank account.
38:51The question that was asked, is this the Mark of the Beast?
38:54No, that's not the Mark of the Beast.
38:55That's what I would consider the preparation for the Mark of the Beast to come.
39:00Because the Mark of the Beast is going to be so much more than that.
39:03It's literally going to contain every piece of personal information about you.
39:09And you'll be able to dictate that information or give that information with a swipe of the hand.
39:15And that's where our technology is going at today.
39:20And the majority of the world is going to accept.
39:27They're going to buy into it.
39:30You know, if you were to pitch this to the world we live in today,
39:32I'm going to tell you something.
39:34The only people that wouldn't want nothing to do with it are the people of God.
39:38The rest of the world will say, oh, that's the most wonderful idea that I ever had.
39:41Yeah, let's get chipped.
39:43That's the slogan.
39:47What will happen if you refuse to accept the Mark of the Beast in the Tribulation Period?
39:52Well, you'll go to jail.
39:55You'll go to prison.
39:57They might send you to a concentration camp.
39:59But at the end of it all, you'll probably end up losing your life.
40:06But once a person accepts the Mark,
40:09the Bible plainly tells us there's no more chances to be saved.
40:13That's it.
40:15You know, throughout the course of my life, I've talked to people who don't want to get saved,
40:21but they know a lot about the Bible.
40:24And Brother Rodney, I think that's about the most dangerous person that you can talk to.
40:29Someone that knows the truth of God's Word, but simply doesn't want to receive it and accept it.
40:36And I've talked to people about the Tribulation Period that know the Bible.
40:40Some of them know it as well as I do, maybe even better.
40:44But they've never accepted Jesus as Lord of the Saints.
40:47And when we talk about the Tribulation Period, some of them will say this.
40:51They'll say, well, I'm not going to get saved today.
40:54I don't want to get saved.
40:55I want to live my life.
40:56I want to do what I want to do.
40:57I want to pray.
40:58I want to do this, do that.
41:00I don't want to get saved.
41:03So, if the rapture happens, well, I'll go into the Tribulation Period.
41:08And they'll say, I just want to accept the mark of the beast.
41:11Then I'll say, I want you to know something that the Bible says concerning that right now.
41:19You know, God's not dumb.
41:22In 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2, verses 11 and 12, the Bible says, for this cause,
41:28because they know the truth, but they've rejected the truth.
41:31They think that they're going to pull a fast one on God.
41:34For this cause, God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie.
41:38Watch this, that they all might be damned who believe not the truth,
41:44but have pleasure in unrighteousness.
41:50So, when we get to the black horse, listen, the black horse represents, again,
41:57as the retinomorphs did going into the second 3 1⁄2 years of the Tribulation Period,
42:01the black horse now represents the famine and the pestilence that is going to take place
42:08in the second 3 1⁄2 years of the Tribulation Period.
42:12Again, the first 3 1⁄2 years, peace and prosperity, everything going good.
42:17And then in a moment, just like that, everything changes and goes completely downhill.
42:24In Mark 13, in verse number 8, for nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom.
42:30There shall be earthquakes in diverse places.
42:32There shall be famines and troubles.
42:35These are the beginning of sorrows.
42:38The famine deals with the destruction of the world's economy.
42:44When we read about the black horse, we immediately find out the truth that food will become hard,
42:50will be hard to come by.
42:52Listen, a loaf of bread in the Tribulation Period, in the second half, will become so valuable
42:59that if you can find a loaf of bread to buy, it might cost you an entire day's worth of wages.
43:07Look at verses 5 and 6 again in Revelation chapter number 6.
43:11When he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say,
43:14come and see, watch this.
43:16And I've been held, and lo, a black horse, and he said, I've had a pair of balances in his hand.
43:23What are the balances for?
43:24Verse number 6.
43:26And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, a measure of wheat for a penny,
43:30and three measures of barley for a penny.
43:34See thou, hurt not the oil and the wine.
43:38Do you see right there where food becomes so scarce that they start to ration it out?
43:45That's how terrible it is going to get in the Tribulation Period.
43:52Food will become so scarce that there will be a rationing system that has to take place.
43:58And in different parts of the world, there will be many times that the food will run out
44:02before many people are even able to eat.
44:06And we're going to see a little bit of that just a little bit later in this study.
44:11But the pestilence deals with the judgment of God.
44:15In the second three and a half years of the Tribulation Period,
44:20the judgment of the trumpets and the judgment of the vials are going to be poured out upon this
44:26world. There will be hell and fire mingled with blood that will come down from the heavens.
44:33One-third of all the trees will be burned up.
44:37One-third of all sea life will become destroyed.
44:41The waters will turn to blood.
44:44Listen, there will be boils that will come upon those who have received the mark of the beast.
44:50There will be excessive heat where men will be scorched with fire.
44:55And I was talking to Brandon the other day.
44:58Listen, me and Brandon both work in environments where it gets very hot,
45:01sometimes well over 100 degrees in the buildings that we work.
45:06And right now in South Louisiana, we look at summertime and we say, boy, it gets hot.
45:11Oh, that's nothing compared to what is going to be in the Tribulation Period.
45:16It will be so hot that men will become scorched with fire.
45:21There will be darkness that will cover the Middle East and the rivers of Euphrates will be dried up.
45:28This will be such a terrible time that the Bible tells us that in those days shall men seek death
45:37and shall not find it and shall desire to die and death shall flee from them.
45:46But you know what the worst thing about the Tribulation Period is?
45:51As in the church age, which is the time right now God is pleading with men and women to be saved.
45:59But yet men and women say, no, I don't want to be saved.
46:03I just want to live my life and do my own thing.
46:07Today, preachers even get out on street corners and preach the gospel,
46:11but yet young men and young women mock them and blaspheme and they call them all sorts of names.
46:18In the Tribulation Period, the middle part of the Tribulation Period,
46:23God is going to call out to this world by using signs and wonders.
46:27Listen, there's going to be wonders in the heavens.
46:30There's going to be angels that become visible,
46:33declaring the gospel of Jesus Christ, giving instruction to the people that are on this earth.
46:39There's going to be 144,000 Jewish preachers that come up and start preaching the gospel
46:46to those that are in this world in the second half of the Tribulation Period.
46:51God is going to resurrect two witnesses.
46:54I believe they're going to be Enoch and Elijah.
46:58He's going to send Enoch and Elijah to preach the gospel in the Tribulation Period.
47:04But do you know what men and women are going to do?
47:08They're going to still curse and they're still going to blaspheme.
47:10God, even though he's about to pour out judgment on this world,
47:14is still going to call men and women to salvation.
47:18But they're going to curse and blaspheme God.
47:21And Brother Jack, when the judgment does come and things get hard,
47:27you know what the men and women of this world are going to do?
47:31They're not going to turn to God and call on God.
47:34As hard as it gets, they're going to curse God even more.
47:39Boy, that's the sad thing.
47:41That's why last week, yesterday, when we were talking about the coldness of men's hearts.
47:46Listen, that coldness is going to continue all the way into the Tribulation Period.
47:52The worse it gets, instead of calling on God,
47:54the more they're going to curse God, and that's really sad.
47:57So, the Tribulation Period starts with the white horse,
48:02the promise of peace and prosperity.
48:05But that white horse soon turns to red as wars erupt all over the world.
48:13Then that black horse comes bringing famine and pestilence.
48:17And then lastly tonight, we see number four,
48:20we see the pale horse mentioned in verses seven and eight.
48:27And verse number seven, the Bible says, when he had opened the fourth seal,
48:32I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, come and see.
48:35Verse number eight, and I looked, and behold, a pale horse,
48:41and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
48:47And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth to kill with sword.
48:52And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth to kill with sword.
48:56Watch this, with hunger, because they weren't able to eat,
49:00there wasn't enough food as we talked about during the time of the other horse, the black horse.
49:12And with hunger and with death, then with the beasts of the earth.
49:17So, we find here, if we look at the pale horse, millions will die because of hunger.
49:23Millions will die because of disease.
49:26Millions will die because of war and chaos within the nations.
49:32About one third of all humanity will die during the time of the black horse.
49:39But there are some things tonight that I want you to notice concerning the pale horse.
49:45The pale horse, watch this.
49:48Number one, I want you to notice the rider's name was Death.
49:53If you were to look back again at verse number eight, I looked, and behold, a pale horse,
49:58his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
50:05Notice that the rider's name was Death,
50:10but also notice the Bible says that Hell followed with him.
50:16You know, there are people today, even in churches, that don't believe in Hell.
50:21They say, oh, Death and Hell are the same thing.
50:25Well, the Bible says right here that the rider's name was Death, and Hell followed with him.
50:30I want you to understand something tonight.
50:31Not trying to be mean, but trying to be truthful.
50:34Death and Hell await anybody who is not trusted in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saint.
50:45So, we notice here that the name of the rider was Death.
50:49That's the first part of it.
50:52But the second part of it tells us that Hell followed.
50:56You see, tonight, Death isn't the end of your life.
51:01Our bodies tonight will return to the dust of the earth,
51:05but our soul is going to be delivered back to God.
51:10And tonight, if you have not trusted in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saint,
51:15then when your body dies, Hell will follow.
51:22Hebrews 9, verse number 27, is appointed unto man once to die, and after this, the judgment.
51:33And then right at the very end of the tribulation period,
51:38the world will enter into its final war.
51:41Many of the people of the world already have called it World War III.
51:45World War III is going to happen.
51:49But there is a biblical title for World War III,
51:54and that title is the Battle of Armageddon.
51:59And that's the one that we're going to look at tomorrow night in great detail.
52:04But I'm fixing to close.
52:05So, today, listen, if you're here tonight,
52:08if you're here tonight and you've never given your life to Jesus Christ, would you do that today?
52:14Because I'm telling you tonight, as I stand here, listen,
52:18the church age is fixing to come to a close very quickly.
52:23And if you're not ready to meet the Lord, then you're going to be left,
52:26and this is what you're going to go through.
52:31So, tonight, if you're here and you've never been saved, listen,
52:34will you come tonight and give your heart to Jesus and be saved?
52:37If you're here tonight and you've never made a decision to follow Jesus,
52:41tonight, would you get off the fence and say,
52:44Lord Jesus, tonight, I've made up my mind. I want to follow you.
52:50If you'll do that tonight, I promise you God will meet with you.
52:52He'll speak with you. He'll touch you.
52:54And you'll leave here a changed person. Amen.
52:58I'm through this.
