One reason could be that Hajj was a special event for the Arabs in terms of society, economy, trade and politics.

they used to say that when they enter the house again, they will not enter through the door.

In fact, they will go to the back of the house and they will enter through the wall.

Once it happened that a person entered through the door of the house.

When he came back, he left wearing hijab and came back through the door of the house.

People said that he is an ill-mannered person and he is a cruel person.

Allah said, where did you make this virtue that you do not have to come in front of the house,

Sometimes they used to break the back door of the house.

So they had made their own ill-mannered ritual.

Although it had nothing to do with Shariah, it had nothing to do with religion and it had nothing to do with the command of God.

Virtue is to attain righteousness.
