We hear from Mike McDaniel and his thoughts on Tua Tagovailoa's contract extension not being settled yet.

00:05He was asked about the Tua Tonga Wailoa situation,

00:08and here is what our very succinct Dolphins head coach had to say.

00:12Is Tua Tonga Wailoa going to practice all periods,

00:17or do you guys work something out where they'll do some but not all?

00:21What's the plan?

00:22The plan is something that I think, you know,

00:28there's two parts to it.

00:33You know, I think it's important to acknowledge that

00:36Tua is in the midst of a contract negotiation.

00:40That's important to him and the football team.

00:44That being said, we communicate very well, and it's very fluid.

00:50We're taking it day by day today.

00:52I expect it to be kind of like OTAs, and we'll move on from there.

01:56And they're probably right.

01:57They're taking advantage of another player that has been a company guy

03:12And what I want fans and people to do is,

03:16when they go to the player and say, give us some money back,

03:20I want you to come with that same energy and say,

03:23you're under contract.

03:25You've got to pay that man.

03:26You shouldn't have gave him the contract.

03:28You see, they forget about that.

03:29They forget about the other side when a guy gets cut

03:32and don't get no more money,

03:33or a guy is asked to take a pay cut because they don't feel like you

03:37earned it, right?
