00:00So what goes on at a charity golf day? I've been invited here to the Belfry to find out just what
00:10the day's all about and what's on the cards as many sporting icons have also made the trip down
00:15to have a round of golf all for a fantastic cause. It's incredibly our 10th golf day already,
00:24seems only like yesterday since we did our first one and we're doing it for the
00:30Jesse May Children's Hospice at Home which is an incredible charity brought to
00:35our attention by Barry Hearn who's one of our guests today and we're so well supported by
00:42the people that turn up every year, year in year out and in my opinion the day just keeps getting
00:49more incredible every year so yeah we're looking forward to today. It's always something very very
00:54special you know and obviously Jesse May that we're doing for this particular year is a wonderful
01:00wonderful charity and to be asked and be involved with it you know for me personally I think it's
01:05very very special and very privileged. Although I've stepped away physically stepped down from
01:11major stuff you know the world championships, match plays etc etc I'm still very very busy
01:16and still very very much on the road. That particular chapter in my book is closed you know
01:21I've gone on to a new chapter now and I've got a lot more things a lot more adventurous things
01:26that I might be doing and yeah so yeah to a point obviously I miss it I mean you know
01:32there'll be only the second one I've missed in 28 years so yeah there'll be a little bit I'm sure.
01:38It does give me just that little bit more time to you know I mean I love my golf anyway so
01:44you know get out and you know help somebody else out and you know along the way. Jesse May,
01:51I became aware of it because I've been to PDC awards doing and PDC and World Snooker
01:59support Jesse May and have done for years and I was made aware of it at those functions and
02:08you know quite literally touches your heart the work these people do and if we can do a little
02:13bit to help them then that's what today is all about. I'll tell you what they're very very special
02:19people to be able to come out and do that type of thing as well you know it's um you know it
02:23takes someone special to do it it's a shame that these sort of things have to be charities you know
02:28government funding should be pulled into this type of thing anyway um so if we can come out and do a
02:34little bit do a little bit help out somewhere along the line if it helps some little or helps
02:39somebody to help someone then very very special. We've got you know business people that we deal
02:45with we got people from the world of sport plenty of snooker darts people around and
02:53and they've always supported us very well so it always turns out to be a great day.
