The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) rescues a three-day-old baby with a high fever and in need of immediate medical attention on Wednesday (July 17).

00:06and in need of immediate medical attention on Wednesday.
00:09Kudat Maritime Zone Director, Maritime Commander Maurice Grenville Abayaratne,
00:14said they activated a medical evacuation following a distress call from Karakit Health Clinic on Bangi Island.
00:21The baby, Muhammad Adwa Faik Saleh, was suffering from high fever
00:25and was at risk of developing a meningeal infection and convulsions without immediate treatment.
00:31Abayaratne said the baby, with his mother and three medical officials,
00:35was brought to Kudat's marina jetty on MMEA's boat by 5pm.
00:41They were later taken to the Kudat District Hospital.
