Parliament Speaker yet to receive notice of new Opposition leader

Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul said he has yet to receive notice on the appointment of the new Opposition leader.   He told reporters after a buka puasa event with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and MPs in Parliament on Tuesday that nothing has been received so far and the status quo will remain until official notification is received in writing.  Johari also said he has not been notified of any seating changes following the sacking of several Bersatu MPs from the party.
