00:00Well, the pressure is now really mounting on the local police here in Tagaytay to find
00:07the killer responsible for this triple murder involving Australian couple David Fiske and
00:11Lucida Cortes.
00:13The local mayor wants life here to return to normal as soon as possible and he's demanded
00:18results within the next week.
00:20But despite the fact that this horrendous crime has made headlines both locally and
00:25internationally, life here in this tourist town continues.
00:29Many of the tourists that we've been speaking with say they're not worried about the fact
00:33that a killer is still on the run.
00:35They say they're confident that police will do their job and find this man and that this
00:39is still a relatively safe place.
00:42Some of the people we've been speaking with don't even know about this horrendous crime
00:46that's taken place here.
00:47Now I've spoken again with the police chief here and he was keen to stress that police
00:52are doing everything within their power to bring this case to a head and solve it and
00:56find this man.
00:58I can assure you that as you see, Tagaytay is generally peaceful, generally safe and
01:07you can see not only local tourists but also international, foreign tourists around, roaming
01:13around.
01:14But he wouldn't be drawn on a series of questions including the last known whereabouts of the
01:19killer, whether they believe that he is still in this area, any other leads that they're
01:24pursuing or any possible connections between the killer and the victims.
01:29No doubt these are all questions that the family wants answered as they continue their
01:33desperate fight for justice.
