Bristol Zoo Responds to viral TikTok gorilla video: ‘ the care and welfare of our animals is, and always has been, our top priority’.

The comment is just one of hundreds sparked by a viral TikTok video - which now has more than 800l views - that saw the troop of gorillas at the former zoo site in Clifton filmed by trespassers who claimed the animals were “abandoned” and expressed concerns for their welfare.

00:50on the site in Clifton and work is well underway to create a new Central African Forest Habitat

00:57at the Bristol Zoo project.
