In September of 2015, Nickelodeon unveiled Dan Schneider's final sitcom for the network entitled Game Shakers. The show focused on a group of kids working together with a rapper to start up a video game company while dealing with the ups and downs of running a company like that. It wasn't received very well and was seen as a failure in the eyes of many people who enjoyed his work, and after his departure from the network in 2018 it ended his TV career on a whimper. How did the pioneer of beloved hits like Drake and Josh and iCarly wind up making such a hated product? Today I hope to answer that question by looking back on the show and seeing exactly why it was a failure.
