A woman who was killed in an alleged domestic violence attack yesterday in the state's north has now been publicly named. Sarah Miles died shortly after police arrived at her home in Casino early yesterday morning. The delayed police response, which took almost an hour, is now the subject of a critical incident investigation. Emma Hannigan reports.

00:15And it's that call, and the delayed response of almost an hour, that are now the subject

00:22The New South Wales police minister, Yasmin Catley, has assured the family that they will
00:27get to the bottle of what happened during that hour, and that's a sentiment that was
00:31reiterated by the government earlier today.
00:34This incident will be forensically examined in that critical incident investigation.
00:39There are concerns about the delay here, and that'll be the forum to really test exactly
00:43what has happened.
00:44The man charged with her murder, 31-year-old Dwayne John Creighton, will appear in Liswar
00:49local court again tomorrow.
