00:00Hunter Brown, who people wanted to drop in April and May, who people could not figure
00:09out what was going on.
00:10Well, he's figured it out over his last three games, 19 innings, he's 3-0, 22 strikeouts,
00:15four walks, a .47 ERA, a .95 whip.
00:19Those are stunning numbers.
00:20That is a huge turnaround for Hunter Brown.
00:22This is why you have patience with younger players, even when they get off to bad starts.
00:26And how important has he been, Matt, when you consider Verlander with that neck issue?
00:30You have Christian Javier go out for Tommy John.
00:33You know, Fred Rivaldez had some iffy starts in there in between.
00:37The Astros have desperately needed somebody to step up in this void at that pitching step,
00:41and this guy has been that dude.
00:43And Hunter Brown, because he's dropped so much in so many leagues, he's still available
00:47in about 35% of leagues right now, which is kind of stunning when you think about this
00:50run that he's been on, because people just weren't buying it.
00:53I think you've got to buy it at this point.
00:55And the Astros are kind of hanging on there.
00:57They're just right at the edge of the ledge.
00:59Hunter Brown's been a big reason why, and I think it's safe to go out there and roster
01:02him again and throw him out there, especially if the matchups are to his favor.
01:05Brown has really turned things around, and hopefully this continues, and he has a really
01:09solid second half that he can build on for 2025.
