Tropical disturbance sparks coastal downpours near Florida

A tropical disturbance off the coast of Florida is causing showers, storms and choppy surf.

00:09This is a tropical rainstorm that's going to kind of work its way off

00:13towards the northwest. The good news is very little in the way of impacts that

00:17will be overly concerned with but rough surf being one of them and showers and

00:21thunderstorms. Charleston, Jacksonville will watch for that wet weather as we

00:24head through tomorrow. Yeah some downpours will cause trouble and also

00:27that onshore wind with the rip current concerns. Keep a close eye on kids and

00:30adults alike if you're swimming on the east facing beaches there in the

00:34Carolinas to Florida.
