No, I think it should be banned for their health.
00:02
I don't really know. I don't really drink energy drinks.
00:04
Because they're high in caffeine, high in sugar,
00:07
they cause health limitations and I don't think they need it.
00:10
I don't think it's good for them.
00:11
In terms of under-16s, obviously with these kind of energy drinks,
00:15
it does strip out a lot of vitamins,
00:17
which is why they put so much B12 and different things like that in it.
00:20
And they always say, you know, the high caffeine amount,
00:24
you do see these kind of kids bouncing off the walls.
00:26
So yes, I think for under-16s, there should be a restriction on that.
00:30
Do you think that they should be illegal for under-16s?
00:33
Nah. Just sell them.
00:35
For other people, though, I think, you know,
00:38
once you reach kind of 16, you should be able to make your own choices
00:40
from that point of view onwards.
00:42
I know, but do you let your children drink energy drinks?
00:44
Well, they do, but no, I don't like it.
00:46
But they're old enough to make their own decisions, so...
00:48
Some people like them just for the taste.
00:50
Other people, if they're, you know, HGV drivers, chefs,
00:53
other professions that are busy, they do need that extra little boost,
00:56
and not everybody likes tea or coffee.
00:58
Just... No, I bother.
