People of Glasgow share their opinion on the smoking ban

Following the ban on disposable vapes we ask Glaswegians if they think it will be effective.

00:07Probably not going to stop them vaping, might reduce vaping overall.

00:17Well, there was already, but it didn't stop.

00:21I mean, I've got two nieces that vape,

00:24and they somehow still managed to get them.

00:26My friend who vapes, he says that they're just putting charging ports in them now

00:31so they can get away with not being disposable anymore,

00:33and they're still going to be able to sell them.

00:35And if that gets cut out, they'll just go illegal.

00:37I don't think anything like that, they ban smoking or ban drinking.

00:42People just carry on, get it for other places.

00:45Could get turned to cigarettes, which the whole point of it was to stop cigarettes.

00:49There's not a lot on what damage they're actually causing,

00:53but children are using them, which isn't good.

00:56So hopefully the ban coming in will make a difference.
