So, as ever, there is loads on in the city of Bristol this week. So, Adriana, can you
00:05
tell me what is on in the city this week?
00:08
Well, a new groovy 70s bar has opened at Clifton. Daisy's Bristol opened its doors at Clifton
00:16
Triangle and on the Instagram page, Daisy describes herself as a groovy 70s bar bringing
00:23
a disco revival. The bar is owned by the Triangle Bars group, who are behind popular
00:30
Bristol venues like the Brass Pig and the closed Embargo and Gravity nightclub. They
00:37
will also have a newsletter.
00:38
Thank you, Adriana. So, shall we move on to our second, what is on in the city this week?
00:44
Tell me about that.
00:45
Well, more than 25 private gardens and four community gardens will be opening their doors
00:51
over the weekend as part of Bear Misters Secret Gardens. The gardens will be open
00:58
from noon to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, but some of the gardens are only open one day.
01:05
The money raised will be used to support the local community gardening and environmental
01:09
projects across BS3.
01:10
Ah, that sounds very exciting and very apt for the summer months then. So, shall we move
01:17
on to our final what is on in the city this week? Tell me about that.
01:21

01:27

01:36
legends of rock, reggae, punk and dub and be the city's first ever all-day open-air
01:43
rock event. Headliners include Skindred, Gentleman's Dub Club Vs The Skints, James
01:51
Alpha, The Breeders, Placebo and Annie Mac. Last entry to all the concerts will be at 8pm.
