00:00Alice brings together politics and business in Villa Borghese, logistics, sustainability
00:27and geopolitical scenarios.
00:29Finance, Binance's focus on the crypto activities between innovation and regulation.
00:35Forum PA 2024, IMPs between legality and public value at the dawn of a new commission.
00:42Trento, digital public infrastructures at the center of the Festival Economia 2024.
00:48Arca Blue Leaders, in Gera Lario, returns to the activity of clean up with Arca Fondi,
00:53Banca Popolare di Sondio and Marevivo Onlus.
01:01A coffee shop in Villa Borghese, European logistics at the center of the world geopolitical scenarios.
01:06This is the title of the event promoted by Alice, which took place in the splendid corner of Piazza di Siena.
01:12The focus of the day is the importance of logistics in the ecological transition,
01:16with a starting point worthy of note the impressive numbers of Alice.
01:20In addition to 2,300 associated companies, an aggregate turnover of 82 billion euros and 261,000 employees involved.
01:28Logistics is a strategic sector, said Grimaldi, President of Alice,
01:32in which more than 6 million people operate in Europe.
01:35The role is a determining role of an association that with its 2,300 members,
01:41with an aggregate turnover of about 82 billion euros,
01:45today allows the country not to have great damage,
01:51despite a terrible geopolitical situation,
01:55despite a situation of reimbursements suffered by the entire sector.
02:00Therefore, the role of logistics and transport is decisive.
02:03Moreover, if Italian families can save 7 billion a year,
02:07thanks to the cost of intermodal transport, this is thanks to Alice's associates.
02:11Crucial issues have been addressed, such as maritime intermodality,
02:15which represents 25% of commercial traffic on Italian scales,
02:19guaranteeing only in 2023 tax revenues of about 100 million euros
02:24and the need for greater public incentives for the Sea Model Shift and the ferrobonus.
02:30There has also been a call to European institutions to consider more balanced global policies,
02:36underlining the current regulatory criticism of sustainability,
02:40especially in the light of a geopolitical situation as complex as the current one.
02:45There has also been a strong occupational growth
02:48and, inevitably, the crucial role of human resources.
02:52Human resources are very important, both in the context of Alice,
02:55but for all corporate companies,
02:57at a time when the market is still growing strongly from an occupational point of view.
03:02The latest ISTAT data show that 62% of occupants in Italy are growing compared to the past,
03:07with 7.2% of unemployment, thus decreasing.
03:11So there is a strong demand for the market, especially in the world of logistics,
03:14and therefore for what Alice represents and becomes fundamental,
03:17because human resources are the engine of companies,
03:20at a time when the labor market is experiencing a phase of great transformation.
03:25Sustainable logistics is always at the center of the discussion,
03:29with Alice, who offers the opportunity to connect the world of politics with the world of business.
03:35P3 Logistics Parks is a real estate investor specializing in logistics,
03:39so we build and produce warehouses that are occupied by our clients,
03:45who are mostly carriers or provide logistics services to the industry.
03:50Alice always offers us the great opportunity to connect the world of politics with the world of business,
03:57and also the different souls of the business world,
04:00so that we can talk about sustainability and 360-degree development.
04:05Alice is Italy in motion, said Grimaldi,
04:08reiterating once again the commitment of the association to promote a sustainable and efficient logistics,
04:13which can be pursued through dialogue between institutions and companies to face future challenges.
04:20BINANCE ITALY
04:24In an increasingly clear regulatory context,
04:26and with the imminent approval of the MICA Regulation,
04:29which will outline the regulatory framework of crypto assets,
04:322024 is being outlined as the year of maturity of crypto activities.
04:37This is discussed at the roundtable of Binance Italy,
04:40entitled Technological Innovation, Blockchain and Crypto Activities, State of the Art and Evolutionary Paths.
04:47Binance is the main blockchain ecosystem
04:50and supplier of cryptocurrencies to the world,
04:53with its 190 million registered users and a turnover of 9 million euros in 2023.
05:00Realities like Binance are essential to accompany traditional institutions
05:05in a process of innovation that is now at the doorstep.
05:08We as Binance have the experience,
05:11we have been on the field for a long time,
05:13so we could create interesting synergies for mutual benefit,
05:21which in the end is the benefit that goes to the users.
05:25It has been understood that this technology brings benefits
05:29and that they can reach citizens, who can benefit from it.
05:35And this, in my opinion, has a significant impact on the spread of this new technology
05:40and the uses that are made of these new technologies.
05:43There are about 3.6 million Italians who currently own crypto activities,
05:47from cryptocurrencies to tokens of various natures.
05:50About 10 million declare interest and curiosity to better understand
05:54what can be done with these tools.
05:57We have a number of users who are approaching these tools
06:01not being aware of what they are and what can be done.
06:05These tools, we must remember, have a very high volatility
06:08and therefore a very high risk of investment.
06:11So it is essential that they are trained, that there is education,
06:14that there are skills that users must have before investing in these tools.
06:19To be able to do this, even the world of traditional finance
06:23will have to get closer to know, understand,
06:26to be a vehicle for education towards the consumer,
06:30but also to understand what are the opportunities
06:34for the most traditional actors of finance
06:37that could arise from managing these tools.
06:45With over 400 performances and 42 million citizens using it,
06:50the IMPS is a pillar of the welfare of our country.
06:53A complex machine that today lives an important moment
06:56in a phase of generational exchange of the Institute
06:59and the definition of new balances between the center and the territory.
07:03This was discussed in the closing day of the forum PA 2024,
07:07in particular during the panel Legality and Public Value,
07:11the challenge of leading the largest providential institute in Europe,
07:15where the word was taken by the new Director General of the IMPS,
07:18Valeria Wittenberga, who went into the addresses
07:21and the administrative action that will characterize her mandate.
07:25An institution that, despite its softness and the financial dimension
07:31that involves it, is not elephantic.
07:34This is what we consider our strength,
07:38because we are absolutely rooted in the territory
07:43and also in the small realities,
07:45and therefore we reach in a more effective and faster way
07:48the users who are all over the national territory,
07:52because we are a direction that thinks for goals
07:56and thinks for teamwork,
07:59so we have used the PNRR funds for many innovative projects
08:04towards the user.
08:06We hope to be able to put these tools also available
08:09for a better relationship with other public administrations,
08:12because finally the user should not talk about public administrations,
08:17but about public administration and have a unique and correct dialogue.
08:25We also have many future projects on this.
08:27We are working together with 3i on the constitution of a citizen's fascicle,
08:32which will also solve some problems of excessively dispersive interface
08:37with all the administrations.
08:43Digital infrastructures for citizens and businesses.
08:46This is the title of the meeting organized by the Abinnovazione Trentino Foundation,
08:50which took place in the context of the 2024 edition of the Festival Economia di Trento.
08:54At the center of the debate, the Digital Public Infrastructures,
08:58protagonists of the international agenda for a digital transformation
09:01that emphasizes protocols, standards and open solutions,
09:05creating the ideal conditions for the growth of public and private digital services
09:09with equal and inclusive access for the entire population.
09:13Our platforms impact the lives of millions of citizens
09:16and that is why they are born inclusive and provide different access modes.
09:22They are born based on open standards, safe, reliable and scalable
09:28and predisposed to be able to operate interconnectedly.
09:32The dissemination of our platforms has generated significant benefits
09:36throughout the system, especially in terms of efficiency and innovation.
09:39And thanks to these experiences, today we are here with our partners
09:43to be able to work on Digital Wallet, the latest generation of new DPI.
09:48In the midst of an important revolution,
09:50also the authentication systems at public services.
09:54The polygraph guarantees the identity of the citizen
09:58and we will see how this is done in particular with the digital identity system
10:05that the polygraph has designed and realized in partnership
10:09and how we are also bringing this to the Digital Identity Wallet,
10:16which the polygraph is committed to ensure the trust,
10:20to ensure the identity of the citizen.
10:24In the era of artificial intelligence,
10:26so that data can be used in the right way,
10:28both by AI and by citizens and companies,
10:31it is important that these are usable.
10:33To do this, it is essential to have real and coordinated digital infrastructures
10:38that can interact with each other.
10:42The design of the European Commission,
10:44precisely in this direction,
10:46has launched initiatives on a set of digital infrastructures,
10:51but it has also regulated access to these data,
10:55creating a Digital Wallet for a unique digital identity
10:58that can, in this way, allow the citizen to put the data in the data space,
11:05but the researchers to use them for the good of the citizens.
11:12Environmental respect and the protection of Italian waters
11:16are a priority for Arcafondi,
11:18which underlines with Arca Blue Leaders,
11:21a project committed since 2022
11:23to preserve the coastal areas and the most vulnerable lakes of the Stivale,
11:28next to the Ollus living sea.
11:30Also this year, the partnership between Arcafondi, SGR
11:35and Banca Popolare di Sondrio con Marevivo,
11:38whose area of interest was Geralario, on Lake Como,
11:42which saw the collaboration of the municipality,
11:44which supported the event with its sponsorship,
11:47and the presence of Mayor Oscar Mella,
11:50where the activity of clean-up was carried out
11:52thanks to the intervention of volunteers of Marevivo
11:55and a group of young students of the San Carlo College of Milan,
12:00who released the shores of the lake from the waste.
12:03We have collected up to now about 200 kg of waste with this activity
12:08and we have also recovered a net of over 300 meters on the coasts of Palermo.
12:16Today we are instead in Geralario,
12:18where we will do this beach cleaning.
12:22The day went well, despite the time we managed to complete the collection
12:27and we have collected more than 8.5 kg of waste,
12:31between plastic and plastic,
12:34almost 300 cigarette butts.
12:37We must thank above all the students of the San Carlo Institute,
12:42who helped us today in this activity.
12:45Commercial partner of Arcafondi, SGR
12:48and supporter of environmental safeguarding,
12:50also Banca Popolare di Sondrio.
12:52Banca Popolare di Sondrio is very happy to participate in this project,
12:56the Arca Blue Leaders project,
12:58with its own SGR of reference, Arcafondi SGR,
13:04in this concrete initiative linked to the environmental safeguarding,
13:10to the safeguarding of the local community.
13:13Through this project, this concrete initiative,
13:17the bank is very happy to give a concrete signal of attention to the environment
13:23in a path that for a long time the bank has undertaken
13:28and linked to the initiative of environmental and social sustainability.
13:33For Mare Vivo Onlus it is essential the support of companies like Arcafondi
13:38for the development of projects aimed above all at the children of schools and volunteers.
13:43Through the sponsorship of the company, of the company Arcafondi SGR,
13:50we can carry out many initiatives,
13:53many of which are aimed at the protection of the sea and the coasts.
13:59So we intend lakes, like today here on Lake Como.
14:03Today's event is attended by children of a school institute in Milan,
14:09because, as we said, sensitization and environmental education
14:14have always been our commitment to the new generations.
