00:00Look, there's a lot of hype about rookie wide receivers coming in and where do we take them?
00:10Is it safe to reach around early or should we wait?
00:16Because obviously people are going to react to what their draft does.
00:19I mean, we say this time and again, do not react to what the manager before you did,
00:23right?
00:24We understand unless it totally poaches you.
00:26But how do we approach this next tier?
00:28The next tier is intriguing because it's filled with guys who could even break out and become
00:33superstars and it's filled with a lot of veterans who could also go in the other direction.
00:38And that's what's interesting about wide receiver two.
00:40Still some good value.
00:41A 13 D.J. Moore.
00:42A lot of people have D.J. Moore as a wide receiver one.
00:44I have him right in the fringe of wide receiver two.
00:46Why?
00:47Because he's playing with a rookie quarterback.
00:48And even though he's the 1-1 quarterback, I mean, Trevor Lawrence was the 1-1 quarterback
00:53a couple of years ago and he didn't exactly, you know, pop off in that first year and he
00:56was the generational quarterback talent too.
00:58It's like people talk about Kayla Williams, a generational quarterback talent.
01:01And they still might be.
01:02There's still time for Lawrence to get there and plenty of time for Kayla Williams to get
01:05there.
01:06I'm just not there yet because I want to see it first.
01:09Chris Olave at 14, solid wide receiver one, if you can get them there, even better as
01:14a two.
01:15Michael Pittman Jr.
01:16That's the guy that I want to circle.
01:17We'll come back to him at 15.
01:19Mike Evans at 16, Cooper Cup at 17.
01:21These are your veterans right here where, look, they've been around a while.
01:24A lot of tread on the tires.
01:26Everyone's coming up a reborn season, basically, with Baker Mayfield, of all people, if you
01:30can believe it.
01:31Set up for success again here and he's been so steady.
01:34How do you say no?
01:35Eventually, it's going to come to an end, but it's really difficult to see it being
01:38this year.
01:40Cooper Cup, an incredible coin flip of value.
01:43If you flip the coin and you get it right, he's winning you a league.
01:47If you get it wrong now, it doesn't kill you like it did when he was a top five pick.
01:53And I think that is what makes it more intriguing now.
01:55Then you have the two guys from the 49ers, Brandon Aiyuk and Debo Samuel.
01:58Now, Debo could end up somewhere else, potentially, and if he does, that money is going to go
02:02to Brandon Aiyuk for probably, you know, $25 to $30 million a year.
02:06We'll see how that all shakes out.
02:08Amari Cooper at 20.
02:09Again, I don't believe in Deshaun Watson, so I'm going to ding him here.
02:13Keenan Allen at 21, Jalen Waddell at 22.
02:16Waddell, incredible year-over-year value.
02:18In fact, if you want to circle somebody that is being the most disrespected in early ranks,
02:22it's probably Jalen Waddell.
02:24He is just one year removed from being a guy who can catch 100 balls.
02:26We can go right back to that again.
02:28DK Metcalf at 23 and T. Higgins at 24.
02:31But Pittman is that guy, again, if Anthony Richardson does what he's capable of doing
02:35in that Shane Stike in offense, which is really exciting.
02:38Pittman already last year with Gardner Minshew, only four touchdowns but 109 catches for 11.52.
02:44He could duplicate that and double that touchdown total, and Pittman will be launched into top
02:4910 wide receiver range.
02:54We'll be right back.
02:55We'll be right back.
