00:00 Mother Nature put on a lightning show for those driving through Richmond, Virginia last night.
00:04 Now while today's commute has been largely dry, wet weather will soon return and it is time for
00:10 our Wednesday travel outlook. So let's populate the map here. You can see some strong storms.
00:15 The biggest concern will be into parts of Indiana, into parts of Ohio, into areas around Kentucky as
00:20 well with those gusty storms. There they are. And around the periphery of that some minor delays
00:24 still in Chicago, still some showers around. Minneapolis still wet at times, some delays
00:29 there. Rain moves into New York late in the day after a dry morning commute. And in Atlanta,
00:33 morning dry weather but afternoon showers will be on the way in. And there into Miami we have
00:38 a little bit of a gusty breeze. The central and western part of the nation, thumbs up,
00:42 we look good for most, off to the west. But the color of your commute is red in Toledo,
00:46 in Akron, and in Columbus, various parts of Ohio. Heavy showers and storms in the morning,
00:52 a break, and then more strong and even potentially severe weather likely into the afternoon in each
00:58 of these three cities. Now the color of your commute is green on the other hand into areas
01:02 like Providence, Rhode Island. Looking good, sunshine early, then the clouds thicken. Cloudy
01:06 start in Charlotte but you should be good for dry travel. And in Arlington, Texas, a beautiful day,
01:11 warmer in the morning, partly sunny there. In the northwest, no complaints except for in Helena,
01:16 a coating to an inch of snow possible there. It's a mid-April snow into areas around Helena.
01:21 Southwest, no weather worries here. We are in good shape here. Enjoy that. Up into the north
01:26 central U.S. here we have some showers into Minneapolis. Breezy weather in Omaha and Bismarck.
01:30 Also a little bit of light snow in the morning into Casper. We're not done with the snow season
01:34 yet. South central looks great, no weather worries in that area. Into the southeast here, we're in
01:39 pretty good shape but we are breezy in Miami, showers in Atlanta. We do have some strong
01:43 thunderstorms, still possible though. They'll be widely separated but potentially intense
01:47 into Nashville. And then the worst travel weather in the nation, Detroit, Columbus,
01:51 Indianapolis with some potentially strong and severe storms in the neighborhood.
