00:00 We support all activities for the Filipino Food Month.
00:03 But this time, let's talk business.
00:06 Let's find out the secret of the business of Claudine Cruz
00:10 that started with online selling and selling pre-loved items.
00:15 And now, she has an actual clothing business.
00:18 Let's watch her story here on "Let's Be Business!"
00:28 I'm Claudine Cruz.
00:30 With a total of P50,000, I started a clothing line business.
00:35 I've been in business ever since.
00:44 I started selling my own stuff,
00:49 like my pre-loved items, my personal stuff.
00:53 That's when I got the idea of starting a business.
00:59 I've been an online seller since 2008.
01:03 I sell different kinds of luxury items.
01:10 And then, last year, I decided to put up a clothing business.
01:17 My friends told me that I'm very fashionista, even I'm chubby.
01:22 But I really do love styling myself.
01:26 So, of course, when you put up a business,
01:28 you need to have passion and love.
01:32 I decided to put up a clothing business.
01:37 Clothes are becoming a plus size for us.
01:43 I want my target market to be for everyone,
01:48 but mostly girls.
01:52 Every month, I travel to Thailand.
01:55 I buy clothes there.
02:01 I'm still in Bangkok.
02:03 I get my items from the hotel,
02:05 and I sell them on our social media pages.
02:09 That's when I sell them.
02:12 It's very flattering.
02:15 Sometimes, it's really fun.
02:18 Not everyone can afford to buy a Christmas gift.
02:24 Customers are not always the same.
02:29 Some people are willing to buy,
02:32 but at the end of the day, they're cancelled.
02:35 So, how do I solve this?
02:38 I think, when it comes to customers,
02:40 patience is really important.
02:46 But I don't take advantage of them.
02:51 We still have to have a limit.
02:55 For me, bread and butter is a business.
02:58 I've never worked as an employee.
03:02 So, I take care of what I'm given,
03:06 what I'm blessed with.
03:10 Learning is a business.
03:17 I don't stop at one thing.
03:22 If you were to ask me,
03:24 "Why do you have so many businesses?"
03:25 "Why do you have so many things to do?"
03:28 I think it's because I love it.
03:30 The fulfillment is different when it comes to business.
03:36 It's different.
03:36 I'm really happy.
03:38 You have to accept everything that can be a struggle,
03:42 a challenge, or a business that you'll choose.
03:45 And no matter what happens,
03:48 don't let go of it.
03:50 Fight for it until the last cent you have.
03:54 It's very stressful,
03:57 but the joy and fulfillment that you'll get from it,
04:01 especially when you want something,
04:03 is different.
04:04 And it's a priceless moment.
04:08 So, if you want to start your own business,
04:10 start now.
04:12 Come on, let's start a business!
04:14 (upbeat music)
