00:00 How you doing guys? We're here at Craigneath, Corngreaves Primary School. You okay?
00:04 Yeah.
00:05 Cool. So you've got some sticks of wood there with you and we've got some, what have we
00:09 got in the background? Some tyres and a cable reel. And you're asking for a bit more of
00:14 this kind of stuff from the community aren't you?
00:16 Yeah.
00:17 Fill us in miss, what is it you're after exactly and what is it all about?
00:20 So we are after lots of large loose parts for our children to build with. We're looking
00:24 for tyres, old pipes, carpet reels, planks of wood, anything that our children can den
00:32 build with.
00:33 Yep. And it's all part of a kind of a theory about creative play isn't it? Using that break
00:38 time but using it in a slightly different way that kind of keeps them engaged still
00:43 and ready for the next part of the day. What do you reckon then guys? Who likes building
00:48 dens then?
00:49 Me!
00:50 Yeah.
00:51 Do you know we spend 1.4 years of our lives at primary school out at playtime?
00:56 That's crazy isn't it?
00:57 It has to be quality don't we?
00:58 Yeah.
00:59 That's a big den you can build in 1.4 years. What is it you like about kind of building
01:03 things in? What is it that sounds fun to you about it all?
01:07 Making dens makes it fun for little children and elders to communicate and make more things
01:14 to experience for little kids to have a help and they can like do obstacles with the dens.
01:19 That's a good idea, yeah, little obstacle courses and stuff.
01:23 Yeah.
01:24 What about you lads? You enjoy building stuff?
01:26 Yeah, I enjoy building because it's fun to be creative and you can have fun with whatever
01:32 you build. It's just very fun to be creative and build what you imagine.
01:39 Cool. What about you on the end there boss?
01:41 Well, it will be fun because actually us, we like to play imaginary things for example
01:50 like build a house and then live in a role play or something.
01:53 A bit of role play, yeah that sounds good. Right guys, well we'll let you crack on moving
01:58 these around, the ones you have got. Cheers guys.
02:01 Corn breeze!
