00:07 The selection was made after meeting for the fifth time in an extraordinary session,
00:12 with 18 votes in favor, 6 over the required 12 in a short list that was made up only of women.
00:20 Camargo will succeed the questioned former prosecutor Francisco Barbosa,
00:24 who ended his term on February 12 amid strong criticisms for the high levels of impunity during his administration.
00:31 Camargo will lead the prosecutor's office for four years.

00:51 Dr. Luz Adriana Camargo was elected as the new Attorney General of the nation.
