00:00Back. President Claudia Sheinbaum assured Friday that U.S. troops will not enter the Mexican
00:04territory where President Trump ordered the Pentagon to use military force against Latin
00:09American drug cartels. A statement was made during Sheinbaum's morning press conference
00:13where she reaffirmed that Trump's executive order does not have anything to do with the
00:18participation of any U.S. military forces or institution in the Mexican territory. The
00:23president reiterated that there have been cooperation agreements between both nations,
00:27but a military invasion is totally ruled out. It has not been part of any agreement. She
00:34finally pointed out that the presence of U.S. agency in Mexico is highly regulated and controlled.
00:46The United States is not going to come to Mexico with the military. We cooperate, we collaborate,
00:54but there is not going to be an invasion that is ruled out, absolutely ruled out. Besides,
01:01we have stated in all our calls that it is not allowed. It is not part of any agreement. Far from
01:08it. They have not proposed anything. When they have proposed it, we have always said no,
01:16that we can collaborate in other ways.
