Walsall FC pay tribute to former Manager: Chris Nicholl who has passed.

Chris Nicholl was a well loved Manager and has had ill health for some time and has now Passed, Fans lit up there phones and there was an applause, Martin O'Connor was there to pay tribute too.

00:00 And rise it high and shine a light for Chris Nicol, one of the legends of this industry and one of the legends of Walsall Football Club.

00:12 Thank you Simon. As you mentioned there, we are extremely saddened to learn of the passing of former manager James Sorensen,

00:21 life-long supporter of Stan Blanford and in the last few days another member of the Walsall family, Chris Nicol.

00:27 Chris met the Sadler's from 1994 to 1997 and won promotion to Division 2 in what was a memorable campaign.

00:34 He was an extremely passionate and likeable figure and someone who will live long in our memory.

00:40 As a mark of respect and in honour of Chris' life, the team are wearing black armbands this evening and we are also joined by Martin O'Connor,

00:47 who captained the side during Chris' tenure, as well as a number of former players.
