00:00 A pilot and co-pilot were killed when their light aircraft model BK160 Gabriel crashed
00:09 in Kapar Klang this afternoon.
00:12 Selangor Police Chief Husein Omar Khan said their bodies were found in the aircraft's
00:17 cockpit which was buried over two metres in the ground.
00:21 He said the Fire and Rescue Department, police and relevant agencies are working to retrieve
00:26 the bodies before sending them to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang.
00:31 According to Husein, the pilot was in his 30s while the co-pilot was in his 40s.
00:37 He said the Transport Ministry's Air Accident Investigation Bureau will be leading the probe
00:42 into the crash.
00:43 Earlier today, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia confirmed that the BK160 Gabriel
00:50 operated by Air Adventure Flying Club departed from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in
00:55 Subang for a recreational flight at 1.28pm.
00:59 It last made contact with air traffic control at 1.35pm and there were no distress calls
