00:00 About 90% of the Pasir Putih wet market in Ipoh was raised in a fire on Tuesday morning.
00:08 During the incident that happened just past midnight, the market was up in flames by the
00:13 time the fire and rescue department personnel arrived at the scene.
00:16 A total of nine fire engines with some 60 personnel was deployed to the scene.
00:22 Ipoh Timor MP Howard Lee said when he reached there with another assemblyman and councillor
00:27 at 12.35am, about 80% of the market were already destroyed.
00:33 He said the personnel took about two hours to put out the fire.
00:37 He said many of the 60 traders of the market had restocked items for the Chinese New Year

00:43 He said they will gather information from the local authority to help out the affected
