Winter storm leads to wrecks all along I-80 in Iowa

AccuWeather's Tony Laubach reported from Iowa amid a winter storm on Jan. 9, describing terrible travel conditions that led to crashed vehicles all along his drive.

00:05 really across the western half of the state from Council Bluffs all the way to Des Moines.

00:09 My drive out here, I have just seen wreck after wreck, semi truck after semi truck flipped over

00:14 on their sides, jackknifed, cars that are stuck in the meaty and multi-car accidents along the way.

00:20 It has just been a dangerous drive. You hear the wind blowing behind me, that blowing snow

00:25 creating the dangerous travel conditions, really keeping the roads fairly ice despite the crews
