00:21 This is in accordance to the directive of Pagulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:25 In particular, Avalos ordered the Bureau of Fire Protection to conduct assessments in the peninsulas and other infrastructures.
00:34 The medical teams also ordered to help the people who were injured because of the fire.
00:39 As of now, 292 fire trucks, 17 ambulances, 7 rescue trucks, and almost 1,800 emergency personnel have been deployed to assist the victims at any time.
00:51 Local chief executives and police have also been assigned to provide assistance and rescue to those affected by the fire.
01:01 The Office of Civil Defense and UBE Express have signed a Memorandum of Agreement to strengthen the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Program in the country.
01:12 Under the agreement, the company will provide support to the OCD's Emergency and Disaster Response Operations.
01:20 UBE Express will allow the use of OCD in its Rapid Radio Support Vehicle that contains various communications equipment that can help in times of calamity and emergency.
01:33 According to OCD Administrator Undersecretary Ariel Nepomuceno, the private company's assistance in improving the disaster risk reduction and management of the country is of great importance.
01:43 UBE Express Founding Chairman Alberto Lina promised that he will continue to support the OCD and the government in addressing the disaster response.
