00:00Pag-ibig fund keeps the ball rolling with record high savings and strong loan releases,
00:04proofing members are putting their trust where it counts.
00:07From growing dividends to expanded home financing,
00:10the agency is hitting the ground running to help Filipino families reach their dreams.
00:16Gam Villegas reports.
00:19Pag-ibig fund continues to maintain a high dividend rate for its members in 2025.
00:25Last year, the dividend rate for regular savings reached 6.62%, higher than the 6.6% recorded in 2024.
00:33The return rate for MP2 savings reached 7.12% last year, higher than the 7.1% recorded in
00:412024.
00:42Pag-ibig also achieved historic record highs last year.
00:45Last year, the number of Pag-ibig fund members reached more than 17 million.
00:49The total membership savings it collected from members reached 160.41 billion pesos,
00:55whereas Pag-ibig collected up to 83.51 billion pesos from the MP2 savings,
01:01while 93.6 billion pesos was collected from voluntary savings.
01:06According to Pag-ibig fund CEO Marilyn Acosta,
01:09these numbers only prove that its members still have continued trust in the agency.
01:13We continued expanding access and strengthening service delivery
01:20so more members can conveniently avail themselves of Pag-ibig benefits.
01:27Last year, Pag-ibig provided an approximately 140 billion pesos home loan to its members,
01:34an 8% increase compared to 2024.
01:37Nearly 95 billion pesos were also released to be loaned to its members for other needs,
01:42an 8% increase compared to 2024, which benefited 3.7 million members.
01:49They also collected almost 200 billion pesos in housing and cash loan payments,
01:53a 14% increase compared to 2024.
01:57According to Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary
02:01and Pag-ibig fund chairperson Jose Ramon Aliling Jr.,
02:05there is an offer of a 3% subsidized interest rate for members in low and moderate income groups
02:11to buy a socialized housing unit with low monthly payments under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino program.
02:18The available housing units were also expanded under the Expanded 4PH program where vertical units are also included.
02:25Many members have also showed interest in obtaining a unit under the Expanded 4PH program.
02:31Pag-ibig fund continues to focus on growing the savings of its members
02:35while continuing to reach Filipino families through home financing.

02:44that we will uphold strong governance and prudent stewardship
