00:00The Davao City Police Office, or DCPO, are prepared to face charges for violations of the anti-bomb joke law.
00:07This comes after two bomb threats in separate private schools in Davao City this week.
00:12Last Thursday, students at a private school in Madapo, Davao City, were safely evacuated after a bomb threat was received.
00:19The Davao City Police Office's city's explosive K-9 unit quickly responded and declared the area negative for any explosive
00:27device.
00:27A day earlier on Wednesday, another threat was reported at a separate private school in Jacinto Street.
00:33This was also found to be negative for explosives.
00:37Investigations revealed the message was sent to the school's official email account by using an individual using the alias Aaron.
00:44Reportedly, a former senior high school student whose identity is now being validated by police.
00:51DCPO reiterated the gravity of such actions, stressing that this carries a penalty of up to five years' imprisonment, or
00:58a fine of 45,000 pesos.
