00:02 So Donnie, three of the four marquee matchups we have broken down here on the show.
00:07 To start off this opening hour, on the opening day of the new week,
00:10 the fourth and final in Baltimore yesterday, the Ravens hosting the Seahawks.
00:16 The second time in three weeks,
00:18 the Ravens have hosted an NFC frontrunner in their respective division.
00:23 Three weeks ago now, it was the Detroit Lions, the favorites out of the NFC North.
00:28 Baltimore won that game 38 to 6.
00:31 Yesterday on a Sunday afternoon in the Charm City,
00:34 it was the Seattle Seahawks who entered with a 5 and 2 record.
00:38 The best in the NFC West, what was the final result?
00:42 The Baltimore Ravens victorious, 37 to 3.
00:46 Utter domination, Donnie, in those two tests against two of the frontrunners
00:51 out in the NFC.
00:52 The line worked in Baltimore's favor prior to kick yesterday afternoon, and
00:57 Baltimore took advantage, rolling to a cover as a 6.5 point favorite.
01:02 The best scoring defense in the national football league, Donnie,
01:05 held Seattle to only three points, and Baltimore walks away with a 34 point win.
01:11 >> The key to this game for me entering into was like, okay, Seattle,
01:14 you're gonna have to crank up that running game.
01:15 And if it doesn't work, you're not gonna be able to win that football game.
01:18 How about 15 carries for 28 yards, a 1.9 yard per carry here for
01:23 Seattle on the road.
01:24 And correct me if I'm wrong, two out of the past three weeks, and
01:27 the NFC title, division title contenders rolled into Baltimore and
01:31 absolutely got put to sleep.
01:34 Same thing with the Detroit Lions, now it goes ahead with the Seattle Seahawks.
01:37 And also, we talked about it here with the NDP race.
01:40 I love where Lamar Jackson's headed is at this point,
01:42 because we see a lot of players across the NFL that understand,
01:45 I need to get mine here, I'm the superstar, let's go ahead with it.
01:49 They put up 37 points, the Baltimore Ravens.
01:51 Lamar Jackson, 21 to 26, ultra efficient, 187 yards,
01:55 no touchdowns in that game passing, no touchdowns on the ground.
01:58 And by the way, third ground game, you wanna talk about being getting cranked up?
02:02 How about 41 carries for 298 yards?
02:07 If you're doing the math and have a calculator,
02:09 that's almost seven and a half yards per carry.
02:13 That is unbelievable here.
02:14 A couple weeks ago, I said to myself, man, you can't lose games to Pittsburgh.
02:18 How the heck did you lose to the Colts and Gardner Minshew at home?
02:21 Maybe I made a bad decision here,
02:22 taking out a flyer here on the Ravens Super Bowl Championship.
02:25 They look tremendous.
02:27 That number has been more than cut in half right now.
02:29 They're gonna be a player in the AFC because again,
02:31 we talk about measuring stick games for other teams.
02:33 Seems like when Baltimore comes up in a game, it's like, you know what?
02:36 We think we're gonna get a test from another really good football team.
02:39 They pound it here.
02:40 Love what I see out of the Ravens, offensively and defensively.
02:43 >> DRS, you probably didn't have a Keaton Mitchell prop.
02:46 He probably wasn't in your fantasy lineup for week number nine.
02:50 But the rookie out of ECU comes out of nowhere.
02:54 Donnie, zero rushing attempts for Mitchell entering yesterday against the Seahawks.
02:59 Nine carries for 138 yards, averaged more than 15 yards per pop
03:05 on the ground, and scored a touchdown.
03:08 Shout out to the Pirates of East Carolina.
03:11 Lamar Jackson, 60 rushing yards as well.
03:14 And Donnie, you were all over the Gus bus.
03:16 Gus Edwards into the end zone twice.
03:19 What is that, six touchdowns now, Donnie, in the last three games for Baltimore?
03:22 >> Yes, it is.
03:24 And also, you keep in mind with him, this is all Lamar Jackson.
03:27 Again, when you're inside the five yard line, it's like,
03:30 you know what's gonna work best?
03:31 A run to a running back here, not me getting statistics here.
03:34 I'll keep riding the Gus bus here because again,
03:36 they love to run the football number two.
03:38 How many times have they been inside the five this year?
03:40 The Gus bus continues to be that closer.
03:42 Love to see it.
